BREAKING: New Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Launched: Gets A New Sportier Variant

The updated Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been launched in India, and it has quite a few important changes. There’s also a new Apex variant that has a different styling as compared to the standard variant. Here’s everything that’s new on the roadster:

How Much It Costs

The standard variant gets a new colour option called Twilight Blue, which is priced at Rs 2,49,194 (ex-showroom). 

The new Guerrilla 450 Apex is priced at Rs 2,49,194 (ex-showroom, Chennai). As of now, this is an intoductory pricing to celebrate 125 years of Royal Enfield, and 1,25,000 units sold globally of the Sherpa platform. This Apex variant is available in three colours – Apex Red, Apex Green & Apex Black. The Apex Red shade is the most affordable at Rs 2,49,194, while the other two colour options cost Rs 2,56,387 (all prices ex-showroom).

Colours To Look Out For

• The new Twilight Blue colour offers a premium appeal keeping inline with Guerrilla's  roadster characteristics. 

• The Apex Red has  a simple red shade across the tank, side panels, and the seat cowl, while the model name and brand badging is in white. 

• The Apex Green has a dual-tone paint scheme – teal and light green. The tank is in teal colour with green graphics, the side panels are also teal. The model name on the side panels, brand logo and the rims are finished in light green shade.

• The Apex Black features a combination of red, black, and white colours. This finish is similar to the Yellow Ribbon colour option in the standard variant. The rim strips are in  a combination of red and ash finish.

What Is It?

The new Guerrilla 450 offers two distinct characters, depending on the variant you pick. The standard variant comes with more upright ergonomics and block-pattern tyres. This should allow you to ride more comfortably, and take on broken roads easily.

• 780mm seat height should be easily accessible even for the shorter riders

• It gets an 11-litre fuel tank, which might result in more frequent fuel stops

• The 169mm ground clearance should handle broken roads and tall speed breakers without much trouble.

• The updated Guerrilla weighs 185kg (kerb), which is 1kg extra compared to the previous model.
