Royal Enfield has launched a limited-edition Shotgun 650 in-collaboration with Icon Motosports and to maintain its exclusivity, only 25 units are available for sale in India. Under the skin, the bike is similar to stock Shotgun 650 f but gets the ‘Always Something’ livery. The exclusivity of the bike does come with a hefty price tag of Rs 4,25,000 (ex-showroom).
Design
This Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Limited Edition retains its original design with addition of exclusive graphics. The bike gets tri-coloured graphics, a red-coloured seat, bar-end mirrors, and blue-coloured rear shock absorbers. The golden coloured rims also compliment the design language of the bike. Royal Enfield will also provide a ‘Slabtown Intercept RE jacket’ to the buyers along with the bike.
Engine
The bike is powered by a 648cc air & oil-cooled, SOHC, 4-stroke, parallel-twin engine. It produces 46PS and 52Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is the same as Royal Enfield’s 650cc motorcycles.
Underpinnings:
There are no changes to the underpinnings of this variant. It gets Showa separate function, big-piston inverted fork with 120mm of travel, and Showa twin shock absorbers with 90mm of travel at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm twin-piston floating disc at the front while the rear gets a 300mm twin-piston disc. Dual-channel ABS is standard. The bike sits on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. It has 100-section front and 150-section rear tubeless tyres. The bike gets an accessible seat height of 795mm, ground clearance of 140mm and weighs around 240kg.
Features:
The bike gets all-LED lighting setup with a semi-digital instrument cluster and a Tripper navigation pod. It also gets a USB charging port, removable pillion seat and matte black twin pea-shooter exhausts.
Appeal:
Royal Enfield will only sell 100 units of the bike worldwide, out of which only 25 bikes are to be sold in India. . The bike is quite appealing and with the exclusivity, it is definitely a collectors’ item.

- Best bike under 5 lakh .This looks very cool on road. I'm impressed by his looks, and it come with 650cc engine. It gives me extra attention on road. I also looked for re super meteor650 but I personally love this one. It's seat height, exhaust everything is amazing. It's feels very comfortable while riding. I went for long ride with this bike around 130 km from patna to my home town it felt so comfortable. However, the mileage is less It gives u around 17 - 18 per litre. I personally recommend this bike to people age above 25 because it is a strong machine with heavy weight. Even this bike is so stable but it needs power to handle.
