Honda UK, the Japanese auto giant, announced its collaboration with the coming James Bond movie, Skyfall, and unveiled the original mean machine used by the film makers in the film, at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu. Honda CRF250R off-roader is selected as the machine by the stunt crew team of 007 film. The modified versions of the bike was used for the opening sequence of the 23rd James Bond film which was shot in Istanbul and Adana, Turkey. Twenty Honda CRF250R machines are used by the film makers and the street-fighter is modified approximately into two native style mototrbikes.

Among two one is a Turkish police bike that henchman, Patrice (Ola Rapace), seizes after a policeman crashes, the other is a Turkish merchant's bike that James Bond (Daniel Craig) uses to pursue Patrice through the streets. Both altered bikes assembled by the award winning special effects team, Chris Corbould's.

Additionally two Honda CRF450R mean machines were used by the camera crew to chase CRF250R and follow the various mind-blowing stunts. According to the Gary Powell, Stunt Co-ordinator for skyfall, they want a good off-roader which is powerful and versatile that could be easily modified without compromising with the performance and safety for the opening sequence of 007 film. He added, Honda CRF250R is the best off-roader option and it's great to join hands with Honda bikes.

At the famous National Museum in Beaulieu, currently featuring the BOND IN MOTION exhibition, the Skyfall 'Police' and 'Street Merchant' bikes along with unmodified Honda CRF250R were unveiled. The exhibition celebrates 50 long years of the James Bond films and displaying 50 most iconic Bond vehicles.
