The Splendor has witnessed massive sales growth
Household names like the Honda Activa and the Hero Splendor have been dominating the two-wheeler market for a decade now, and in terms of sales, both lead the charts and are neck and neck.
The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers’ (SIAM) two-wheeler sales report for the month of August 2022 has been released and here’s how many Activa and Splendors were sold in the said period.

The Splendor series, including the Splendor Plus, iSmart and the Super Splendor, has witnessed a massive growth of 14.2 per cent in sales last month when compared with July 2022, and a 16.7 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth.
The Honda Activa, on the other hand, has seen a drop in sales in August by 3.43 per cent from July 2022. However, the Activa does witness an eight per cent growth YoY.
