Hero Maestro Xoom 110cc Scooter Incoming!

It will flaunt a sporty design and a bunch of interesting features

Details of Hero’s upcoming sporty scooter have been leaked ahead of its unveiling. It was spied at a dealer event and contrary to what we had expected, it is actually a 110cc sporty scooter reportedly called the Maestro Xoom 110.

In terms of appearance, from what can be seen from the presentation pictures, the Maestro Xoom 110 will be a sporty scooter with aggressive design language. Even the ‘X-shaped’ LED headlight and taillight look pretty sporty. 

Powering the scooter is most likely the same 110.9 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine as the Hero Maestro Edge 110. The power and torque outputs might stay the same too at 8.15PS and 8.75Nm. We do know that the scooter will be getting Hero’s i3S technology for better fuel efficiency.

Another confirmed bit about the scooter is that it will roll on 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends, unlike the 12/10 setup found on the Maestro Edge 110.

In terms of features, the Maestro Xoom flaunts a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. With the connectivity, the scooter is likely to get turn-by-turn navigation, missed-calls alert, incoming call alert, theft alert, find-my-parking and track-my-vehicle functions as seen on the Hero Maestro Edge 125.

Expect Hero to launch the Maestro Xoom 110 in the coming weeks at an estimated price tag of around Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom). It will rival the likes of TVS Jupiter, Honda Dio and Honda Activa 6G in the 110cc scooter segment.
