    What's New?

TVS has given this new variant a slightly different fascia, it gets an all-new LED headlight, which also gets stylish looking LED DRLS, and there is a new LED tail-light as well. Along with this, the bike also gets premium looking LED indicators which can also be found on other TVS bikes like the TVS Ronin, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and more.

    New TVS Radeon

Other than these changes the bike uses the similar looking metal fuel tank, and side panels. When compared to the older Radeon, the new one gets fewer chrome elements. The bike is available in three variants, and there are a total of four colour options. Overall, this new variant does look slightly more premium and modern when compared to the older one.

    Same Engine As Before?

    New TVS Radeon

The bike uses the same tried and tested 109.7 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, and here too it produces the same 8.08 PS and 8.7 Nm. This engine comes paired to a 4-speed gearbox, and in the normal Radeon it was praised for its linear power delivery with usable performance for both city, and highway. Here too, it is expected to provide similar performance.

    Underpinnings

    New TVS Radeon

The uses a light-weight steel-tube frame along with a conventional telescopic fork, and twin rear shock absorbers. It runs on 18-inch alloy wheels at both ends, with a 2.75/18 front and a 3.00/18 rear tyre. The base variant gets a 130 mm front, and a 110 mm rear drum brake setup. While the top-spec Digi Disc variant gets a 240 mm front disc brake.

    Features

    New TVS Radeon

Along with the all-LED lighting, the Digi variants come with a coloured LCD console which was first seen on the TVS Raider 125. It shows all the basic information, and also gets a real-time mileage indicator, a service reminder, and low-fuel indicator. Other than this, the Base variant comes with a more simpler console, which gets an analogue speedometer, fuel gauge, and odometer. For added safety, the bike also gets CBS (combined braking system).

    BikeDekho Says

The new TVS Radeon does look a bit more modern and fresher when compared to the normal one. Yes, it still looks like a conventional commuter motorcycle, but the updated fascia, LED lighting, and new colours does make it look slightly more desirable. The LCD console can also be found on the top-spec variant of the normal Radeon, but here it just completes the overall package, while still being Rs 7,500 more affordable. The new TVS Radeon competes with the Hero Splendor Plus, and Honda Shine 100.

      Most durable in 110cc class.
Most durable and well built. But the Radeon has an advantage over it's rivals and that's the exhaust note with quite nice engine performance for a 110cc and looks are balance between style and practicality. Very economical over long term usage. Excellent for small business and load carrying capacity because of it's robust built quality. Cons: Breaking could be better. Seat foam hardens over time making it uncomfortable.

The bike is smooth and comfortable with nice handling in both city and highway conditions. I enjoy the responsive clutch and low vibration levels. This is a bike I feel safe and I have been able to take it on some long trips comfortably. No regrets so far. I definitely advise others to TVS Radeon. It is a great all-rounder-incompetent, stylish and reliable. I think it is perfect for anyone who loves a bike with personality, but not very attractive. It is also easy to handle, making it good for early or experienced riders. Overall, a smart purchase for price and performance.
