Another game-changing announcement could be coming our way VERY SOON!

The Exhibition of International Motorcycles and Accessories (EICMA) is a sacred place for two-wheeler fanatics. Leading manufacturers (and even newbies) showcase their future and present arsenal every year, giving a taste of what's in store for the next financial year.

One of them is our beloved Royal Enfield. So what does the Classic 350-maker have in store for the 2021 edition of the EICMA?

For starters, none other than the Super Meteor 650. After all, the bike has been spotted testing time and again in a production-ready avatar. Doing so makes sense for two reasons. First, Royal Enfield's 650cc platform, including the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, was introduced in 2017 at the EICMA itself. Since the Super Meteor 650 is based on the same platform, it'll make perfect sense.

The second, and the obvious bit, is the hype that's been generated. By unveiling the Super Meteor 650 at the EICMA, Royal Enfield will create a lot of interest in the US and European markets. Add to this the recent global mood shift from full-blown, mammoth bikes to mid-capacity fun cruisers, and this would make the Super Meteor 650 an excellent option for the markets above.

Additionally, Royal Enfield has just teased a special 120 year-edition of the Interceptor 650 on social media. Unlike its usual colourways, the particular motorcycle will come with pinstripes, unique graphics, and blacked-out mechanicals instead of chrome. This celebratory paint job could also extend to other Royal Enfield offerings in the future.

Besides, the Indian giant could also showcase its 350cc roadster, the Hunter 350, and the Himalayan-based Scram 411. However, this is slightly far-fetched as these would essentially be India-specific models, and even their test mules don't look quite ready yet.

And of course, complementing all this would be Royal Enfield's existing lineup on display, including the Meteor 350, Classic 350, Himalayan, and the 650 twins.

Excited? Well, we suggest you stay tuned to BikeDekho as the EICMA kicks off tomorrow, and we'll bring you all the updates right here.
