6 Bikes Coming To Light Up This Festive Season

Right from aggressive streetfighters to rugged ADVs, there’s quite a lot in store for us enthusiasts!

The September-November phase is arguably one of the most joyous ones of the year in Indian households. There are quite a lot of festivals then and the overall vibe is quite a positive one. It is, hence, not surprising, that Indians shop a LOT in this time period. So if you plan to do the same this festive period, and if your shopping cart needs a nice motorcycle, fret not! For here are six motorcycles that could be launched around this time period:

2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350

The Bullet 350 is the world’s longest production motorcycle and probably the most iconic one in Royal Enfield’s lineup too. And that very stature is soon going to be taken up a notch as the bike will now finally come in the brand’s new and rather impressive J-series platform.

After spotting multiple test mules of the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350, the bike’s finally coming to our shores. Royal Enfield itself put out a teaser earlier last month and September 1 is when the bike will be officially launched. As for its price, we think Royal Enfield could peg it around the Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. Once here, it’ll go up against the Benelli Imperiale 400.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

The Himalayan 411 was the most anticipated motorcycle from Royal Enfield back when it was launched. And now, the Himalayan 450 has come full circle by being the most anticipated Royal Enfield now. And in fact, Royal Enfield officially revealed its exhaust only recently.

We've seen the Himalayan 450 being tested endlessly and the most recent sighting was earlier this month. Interestingly, it’ll be the first Royal Enfield with a liquid-cooled engine, a modern-looking TFT instrument cluster and a lot more.

With the Himalayan 450, we expect Royal Enfield to modernise the Himalayan without changing what the bike really stands for: a no-nonsense, go-anywhere motorcycle. The adventure bike is expected to arrive in the next few months with an estimated price of around Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom). And what’s even more exciting is that there is also a more hardcore variant in the works.

2023 KTM 390 Duke

The 2023 KTM 390 Duke has been spotted around a fair bit too and it really has excited us a lot! In fact, we even got a bunch of exclusive details about the upcoming bike, all of which you can check out here. The bike was also earlier spotted in a typically-KTM orange paint scheme and it looked absolutely menacing! And as for its console, here’s what it looks like.

The current-gen KTM 390 Duke is a wild little thing and with the updated one, KTM will really take the madness up a notch. All that will come at a price though and we expect the bike to be priced around the Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. As for its launch, it could be here sometime around November 2023. Given that the first ever Duke was launched nearly 30 years ago, KTM might just look to spice up this year’s EICMA…

Yamaha R3 And MT-03

Ever since Yamaha gave us a taste of the R3 a couple of years ago, it left a lot of us wanting for more, especially ever since the bike was discontinued a couple of years ago. But now, along with the supersport, us Indians will also get its naked sibling, the MT-03. Here are more details as to when the bikes could be launched.

What both bikes bring to the table is an absolute gem of an engine. The 321cc parallel-twin is smooth and extremely versatile. Be it pottering around lazily in the city or blasting your way on a race track, it can do both! As for their prices, the MT-03 could be priced around Rs 3 lakh, while its faired sibling could carry a sticker price of around Rs 3.50 lakh, both ex-showroom.

Triumph Scrambler 400X

Triumph shook us all by launching the Speed 400 at an astonishing price of Rs 2.23 lakh (for the first 10,000 customers). Even our first ride review revealed that the bike is a genuinely loveable one and that it’s a lot of bike for that price.

So now with the Scrambler 400X, we expect that very experience to now come in a slightly more rugged and an even more stylish package. The Scrambler is definitely a looker and given that it looks better and is more powerful than its direct rival, the Yezdi Scrambler, we expect it to garner quite a lot of attention, just like the Speed 400. The bike will be launched in India in October and we think it could be priced around Rs 2.60 lakh, ex-showroom.

Hero Xtreme 125R

All the previously mentioned bikes were super premium and relatively expensive ones. So if you’re on a bit of a budget, worry not, because we’ve something for you too. A recent spy shot revealed that Hero could be gearing up a TVS Raider rival in the form of what could be called the Xtreme 125R.

The Xtreme 125R’s spy shots make it look sharp and sporty and we think Hero could finally bring something that’s truly sporty to the 125cc space. Here’s a closer look at it. With the TVS Raider in the crosshairs, Hero could price it around Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom).

User Reviews

Expireance

So, I have owned this bike for like 3 years now, and no major problem has been there. It works well, looks amazing, and has low maintenance cost, at least for me. But the only thing is that it’s more of a cruiser, so from a speed perspective, it kind of lacks. Overall, a solid choice, just like its name, it’s a Bullet.Read More

Well maintained with no any dent t is present.

For daily city riding the engine is smooth and responsive. It’s particularly good for overtaking and quick acceleration compared with many conventional 125cc commuters bikes.
