Hero Electric AE-47 E-Bike Highlights
The Hero Electric AE-47 electric bike has been unveiled at Auto Expo 2020. It will be launched by the end of 2020 and will compete against the Revolt RV 400. The bike gets a Honda CB300R-like design language.
It is powered by a 4kW hub motor linked to a 3.5kWh removable battery pack. The claimed range in Eco mode stands at 160km whereas it can go up to 85km in Power mode. Hero Electric claims the bike can reach a top speed of 85kmph and 0-60kmph acceleration in 9 seconds. It takes four hours to charge completely.
It employs an inverted front fork, rear monoshock, 290mm front, and 215mm rear disc with combi braking system. Other features include an all-LED lighting system, smartphone connectivity, geo-fencing, real-time tracking, walk assist mode, cruise control and reverse mode. The upcoming electric motorcycle is likely to cost around Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom).
