          Gravton Quanta Latest Updates

          Gravton, a Hyderabad-based startup, has launched the Gravton Quanta electric moped in India. This made-in-India electric moped carries an introductory price tag of Rs 99,000. There are three colour options available: red, white and black (limited edition). Bookings are open at the brand’s official website.

          The Gravton Quanta is powered by a 3kW BLDC hub motor linked to a 3kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It is built on a rib cage chassis that can accommodate two battery packs with a total claimed range of 320km. The e-moped can cover up to 150km using a single battery. It takes 90 minutes to charge completely using a fast charger and three hours using a conventional one.  

          The e-moped is suspended on a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers and gets  17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Braking is via discs at both ends with CBS as standard. For around the same price, you could also go for a full-fledged electric motorcycle, the Revolt RV 400.
