Hero Electric Updates The Optima CX And NYX Range
More features and better aesthetics to make it more youthful
Hero Electric has launched its all-new, smart, and connected range of Optima CX and NYX. The company has revealed a total of three new products: Optima CX2.0 (Single Battery), Optima CX5.0 (Dual-battery) and NYX (dual-battery). The prices, meanwhile, vary from Rs 85000 - Rs 1,30,000 among all these e-scooters. The current lineup of Hero Electric scooters offers two versions of the Optima CX e-scooters - single battery and dual batteries. The single battery model will now be known as the CX 2.0, and the dual battery pack will be known as the CX 5.0. On the other hand, the NYX is still referred to as the NYX.
The addition of LED lights and alloy wheels are among the most obvious changes. The brand has also said that these e-scooters would "usher in a new era of smart-connected transportation," which ideally implies that they’ll feature bluetooth connectivity. Information regarding the motor, battery pack, and BMS is still awaited, as we’ve reached out to the company.

With the addition of these scooters, Hero Electric has ventured beyond the Rs 1 lakh price mark for the first time. The brand is hence looking to dip its toes into the premium electric scooter segment. With its future products the company could even be looking to take the fight to the giants like Ather, Ola and TVS.
