Hero Electric AE-29 Highlights

Hero Electric has unveiled the all-new AE-29 electric scooter at the auto expo. The sharp and angular e-scooter belongs to the Comfort Series in Hero’s portfolio and is expected to be launched in the next couple of months.

The AE-29 is powered by a 1000W motor and a 48V/3.5kWh lithium-ion battery that offers a range of 80km on a single charge. It can be fully charged within 4 hours. On the feature front, the scooter gets Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument console, anti-theft system, mobiles charging port, walk assist, and reverse assist. Additionally, the scooter can be tweaked overtime with the help of OTA (Over The Air) updates. Other notable features include LED lighting and extra storage in the front apron.

In terms of underpinnings, it employs a telescopic fork and twin gas-charged suspension at the rear. Its braking setup comprises drum brakes at both ends coupled with CBS (Combined Braking System).
