I Just brought the bike on 12/03/2015 at Noida about 94000/- INR. 1st I have gone to Suzuki showroom to check the Gixxer as I got top reviews and comments on this but somehow after test ride it could not make me happy. Reason is the body and plastic parts of Gixxer looked so cheap and control of the bike is not felt like my old Pulsar. That was enough to postponed my idea about it and moved directly from there to nearest Yamaha showroom at sector 10. Though I have experienced the old FZ-S and always liked it but still I asked for a test ride and wow! my mind changed completely and attracted to new FZ-S FI. I am not writing that I am an owner of this bike, You could feel it your when you sit and start it. Its a royal feeling which only you can understand when sit any FZ bike. The main part of attraction was style, good control, engine sound and fuel injection. I finalized the price and took home my new love within 4hrs. Now just road it for 200KM and got 45-50KM according to drive situation. The style, the color and the power. no complain about it. Everybody notice when you pass them on road. Mine is blue and black the official color. Still have to test a long ride but within city I always run 60-70KMPH without any issue. The main part is control over the bike which already mentioned by some fellow users. Its true and you feel it when ride it. Now the downside according to me is bike has been reduced its weight and due to this all body plastic parts are so thin that you could bend it in one hand. But dont think they are breakable. There is no time option on digital meter. if you ever noticed most of the FZ series bikes always broke their indicator lamp. The reason is fixing of plastic with synthetic material. I expected Yamaha should think about it change it to a lighter version and fix with aluminum or same kind of material so it would be more stronger. But it remain unchanged. I am happy with drum rear break and pickup on a 149cc engine. Final verdict is this bike is awesome for this price and give you a elite class on Indian road. Please bargain with showroom for batter price. Its possible and there is always offers. Happy and safe biking...
