About SWM Superdual T
Motoroyale has announced a price cut of Rs 80,000 for the SWM Superdual T, thus bringing its price down to Rs 6.5 lakh from Rs 7.3 lakh (both ex-showroom Pune). However, the price benefit will only be available for the first 250 buyers or till 31 March 2019. At this price, the Superdual T will be offered with a full set of accessories that includes engine protection bars, LED auxiliary lamps, skid plate, pannier mounting points, fog lights, crash guards, knuckle guard and centre stand kit.
It has a lot of design elements taken off dirt bikes like the minimalistic bodywork, high front fender and spoke wheels. The bike also gets a full-digital instrument, a tall windscreen, long-travel suspension, dual-purpose tyres, dual-channel ABS and fitment points for hard panniers as standard. On the other hand, the top-spec variant gets fog lights, engine guard, skid plate, knuckle protectors and a luggage rack over and above the standard equipment.
Powering the bike is a 600cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder motor that produces 57.10PS of power and 53.5Nm of torque. It has 180mm of ground clearance which can be increased to 230mm by adjusting the suspension. The seat height, at 890mm, is quite tall and might pose a problem to average-sized riders. It weighs just 169kg (dry) and has an 18-litre fuel tank. The SWM Superdual T goes up against the likes of the Kawasaki Versys 650 (Rs 6.69 lakh), Suzuki V-Strom 650XT (Rs 7.46 lakh) and the upcoming Benelli TRK 502 (expected price Rs 5 lakh).
