Some of Yamaha’s models have witnessed a minor price hike

In order to comply with the latest government emissions norms, Yamaha has updated its entire product range. The government has made it mandatory to have an real-time OBD (on-board diagnostics) sensor and indicator on all the bikes sold in India starting from April 2023. With this update the bikes are now BS6.2 and also E-20 compliant, which means their engines can run with up to 20% ethanol-blended fuel to reduce the carbon emissions.

In the process of the update, some of Yamaha’s bikes have witnessed a price hike. These include the R15 M and MT-15 (Cyan Storm, Ice-Fluo Vermilion, Blue, Black Dlx). The Aerox 155 now gets a silver colour and the prices across the model range remain the same. Meanwhile, the Ray Zr (Black, Light Grey) gets dearer by Rs. 1000 ex-showroom.

With this update, the bikes also get some visual and technological changes such as LED indicators and traction control which are now standard across Yamaha’s entire motorcycle range as well as on the Aerox 155.

A good bike in this price segment, and Yamaha is a great company with great bike models. Love the R15, Yamaha, My dream bike is the Yamaha R15. It offers features like dual-channel ABS, VVA technology, good mileage, and premium hardware. It looks like a much more expensive bike, but I love Yamaha because this bike is priced under ₹2.5 lakh.

Good maintained bike with all time show room recor
Got it in a reasonable price, gives good mileage on highway 60kml and in city moderate traffic 50 to 55 km/l and heavy traffic 45 to 50 km/l. Maintenance cost is also budget friendly, good maintained bike. Every service is done in the showroom. Comming to performance, it gives me a good performance.

The scooter is amazing. Great performance and good mileage as well was getting around 35 kmpl in city. Great handling and high-speed stability with good breaks. Everything is good but the scooter is not suitable for tall riders. The boot could fit an entire full-face helmet inside as well along with space to keep a jacket as well.
