Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India has issued a voluntary recall for its 300-350cc bikes over two different mechanical issues. The Honda CB300F, CB300R, CB350, H’ness CB350 and CB350RS are facing a wheel speed sensor fault. Whereas, the Honda CB350, H’ness CB350 and CB350RS also have a camshaft issue.

Wheel Speed Sensor Issue

The wheel speed sensor issue is a manufacturing defect, due to an improper moulding procedure. This may lead to water getting deposited in the wheel speed sensor and cause a speedometer error along with traction control and ABS malfunction. This fault can lead to ineffective braking or irregular traction control and ABS intervention, leading the rider in a tricky situation.
