Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India posts 10% for February 2015

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India registers an overall sales of 361,493 units that conclude a growth of 10% the month of February’15. The manufacturer has sold 139334 motorcycles and 208811 scooters in domestic market and has exported a total of 13348 units. For the month, the manufacturer holds the highest domestic market share of 29% in HMSI history. However, Indian two-wheeler Industry experienced a negative growth of 2%.

From the inception of the financial year 2014-15 to February, the company has shown a progress of 22% domestically as compared to 9% growth of the industry. Perhaps, Honda is currently the fastest growing manufacturer in the Indian two-wheeler industry which has gained a good 3% this month. On the other hand, the manufacturer has set a record of selling 40 lac plus units in the current fiscal with year to date sales figure of 40.54 lac that comprise of both domestic and export sales.
