Pricing details will be revealed later in February

Along with the Bob-e electric, Cyborg also took the wraps off its electric cruiser dubbed Yoda (nothing to do with Baby Yoda from StarWars). You can reserve a slot for Yoda for a token amount of Rs 1,999 on Cyborg’s official website. Pricing and other purchase details will be revealed later in February.

Going by the looks of it, the Cyborg Yoda is a thorough cruiser. It features a proper low slung cruiser stance, raked out front end and easy to reach mini ape hanger handlebar. The rider triangle seems very appropriate (like any cruiser has) for touring but does it have the legs to munch the kilometers? Let’s find out.

Cyborg has equipped the Yoda with a 8.5kW motor (peak power). It’s paired to a 3.24kWh battery (swappable) that’s said to hold enough charge for a claimed 150km range in the Eco mode (also gets sports and drive mode). The top speed is limited to 90kmph and the battery can be charged in 4.5-5 hours. Cyborg also offers a fast charging option. The Yoda can clock 0-40kmph in 3 seconds.

On the feature front, the Cyborg Yoda gets a fully digital cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, reverse mode, cruise control, keyless ignition, faux sound, geo fencing and geo location. You also get a USB charger, and an anti theft system. However, Cyborg has cut corners and equipped Yoda with halogen lights.

It's sprung on a conventional telescopic front fork and dual rear shocks while the braking hardware comprises a front and rear disc brake setup. It rides on a 110/70-17 front and a 140/70-17 rear alloy setup.

While the Cyborg Yoda seems to be a promising electric cruiser at least on paper, it already has a few foes awaiting in the EV space. To name a few, Komaki Ranger (looks similar to the Cyborg Yoda), Revolt RV400, Tork Kratos and electric scooters like Ola S1, TVS iQube Electric, Ather 450X and the Bounce Infinity E1
