Upcoming Ampere NXG Electric Scooter Launch Tomorrow: More Details Revealed Via New Teasers
The TFT instrument console has been revealed in one of the teasers
Ampere has launched the Nexus electric scooter at an introductory price of Rs 1,09,900 (ex-showroom Delhi including EMPS or Electric Mobility Promotional Scheme 2024).

Ampere has recently released three teasers of their upcoming electric scooter, the Ampere NXG ahead of its launch on April 30, 2024. The teasers have showcased different aspects of the scooter including the instrument console and water wading capabilities.
The first teaser has revealed the instrument console that will be used on the scooter. The console is a TFT unit which displays information such as speed, selected riding mode, time, battery level, motor rpm readings, battery overheat indicator, along with trip meter and odometer readings. The console also comes with smartphone connectivity and related features, such as turn-by-turn navigation and Call/SMS alerts.
The teaser has also revealed the switchgear of the e-scooter, and it includes: a hazard light button, left and right indicator buttons, a home button along with a dedicated button for reverse mode, and one for switching modes. The scooter also gets 4 directional menu navigation buttons to navigate the console.
In the second teaser, the scooter was shown wading through deep waters. This one attempts to address the anxiety people have with EVs in general when it comes to riding in harsh weather conditions, especially on flooded roads.
The third and final teaser showcases the headlight. It comes with a diamond cut design and in this teaser Ampere claims that this is the brightest headlight (in its segment).
Expect the electric scooter to offer performance equivalent to that of a 110cc petrol-powered scooter. Also, it is likely to get around 100km claimed range. The Ampere NXG previously had completed a Kashmir to Kanyakumari journey and also set multiple records. The e-scooter is expected to come at a price that is around the Rs 1.35 lakh to Rs 1.55 lakh mark.
After its launch, the NXG will go up against electric scooters in the market such as the Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube and the Ather Rizta.
Ampere Nexus User Reviews
- Unbeatable 3.5hours charging time with100 km rangeI choose this because I felt it's design is best among all the electric vehicle. And I also didn't find any other vehicle which has 100 kms of range, top speed 94 km and the best part charging time was only 3.3 hours. My ride was far better then expectations. I'm glad to use this for everyday work and trust me that 3 hours charging time with 100 kms range is unbeatable for now. It made my life so easy. However, I would expect better shocker, seat and hand buttons to easily reachable. Highly recommend vehicle for everyone those who had to commute daily should must choose this bike. I daily put it for charge in the morning for just 2 hours and I'm ready to go for whole day. Being the best, this vehicle needs marketing,Read More3 7
