Revolt RV400 Highlights
Revolt has commenced deliveries of its RV400 electric motorcycle in Pune. It has also announced that the RV400 has been sold out for this year and bookings for the Jan-Feb 2020 batch have begun. Customers can now buy the RV400 at its ex-showroom price of Rs 98,999. However, customers have to pay extra for the registration/RTO charges, insurance, 4G connectivity. For now, the e-motorcycles will be available only in Delhi and Pune. Other regions like Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai will get the motorcycle in the next couple of months.
The RV400 premium variant can be remotely started via the Revolt app. It gets in-built geofencing tech that allows you to remotely locate your RV 400 as well as set a perimeter for it to operate in. The premium variant will offer a choice of four artificial exhaust note options.
The RV300 gets a smaller 1.5kW motor and 2.7kWh swappable battery and a claimed range between 80 to 150km. The larger RV 400 has a 5kW motor and 3.24kWh swappable lithium-ion batteries that deliver an ARAI-certified range of 156km. Revolt is offering an unlimited warranty on the battery. The bikes get a warranty of 5 years and 75,000km. You also get on-board diagnostics and Over-The-Air updates. We have ridden the RV400. You can read the first ride review here.
