New Bajaj Pulsar 125 & 150 To Launch On August 24, 2026: What To Expect?
New engines, new underpinnings, more tech?
Bajaj is going to launch the new-generation Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 in India on August 24, 2026. Both motorcycles have already started reaching dealerships, giving us a clear idea of what to expect. And unlike a regular facelift, both Pulsars get major changes to their design, engines, chassis and features.
Bajaj Pulsar 125
The new Pulsar 125 has started reaching dealerships. It will get a sharper design while retaining the familiar Pulsar silhouette. The bike features a redesigned headlight cowl, a muscular fuel tank, new tank extensions and a completely new taillight.
Since it will be an all-new generation, the bike will likely get a new 125cc air-cooled engine. Final specifications have not yet been revealed, but the new motor is expected to offer improved refinement, power delivery and efficiency.
The chassis will be new, with the previous dual-cradle frame and twin-shock setup making way for a single-cradle frame and monoshock. The telescopic fork and 17-inch alloy wheels will most likely continue.
The biggest update, however, is a new 5-inch TFT console. Similar to the unit seen on the recently launched Pulsar N160 SS, it gets smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, music controls and document storage. Other features include all-LED lighting, USB Type-C charging, hazard lights, a silent starter and a switchable idle start/stop system.
Bajaj Pulsar 150
The Pulsar 150 will most likely follow a similar formula, getting a sharper design, a new headlight with LED DRLs, revised tank extensions and a new taillight.
It will also likely get revised bones, although the fork and wheel sizes are expected to remain the same. The biggest change, however, will likely be a new 150cc air-cooled engine, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. A silent starter and switchable engine stop/start system are also expected.
The Pulsar 150, too, is expected to get a TFT console offering smartphone connectivity, ride modes, navigation and call/SMS alerts.
BikeDekho Says
The new Pulsar 125 and 150 will get massive generational updates rather than simple facelifts. With new engines, underpinnings and significantly more tech, both motorcycles will become much stronger rivals to the TVS Raider 125, the Honda Shine 125 and the Honda Unicorn.

Needed something dependable for daily city traffic that wouldn't eat up all petrol money. looked at a few other 150cc options but the pulsar 150 just felt like the right balance of price, low maintenance and that classic muscular look that never gets old. Honestly pretty smooth for daily running, engine has nice pickup in lower gears so overtaking in heavy trafffic is easy, getting a solid 45-50 km regularly, only slight downside is minor handle vibes past 85 kmph but for everyday city speeds, its steady and comfortable. Definitely 100 percent recommend it, if you want a reliable everyday bike with decent power and great fuel efficiency, maintenance is super cheap and spare parts are available anywhere. just a solid, no nonsense daily runner that gets the job done.
