Quick News Highlights
-
The Pulsar NS125 now gets ABS modes
-
Also gets the same console as the Pulsar NS200 with turn-by-turn navigation
-
Updated bike is priced at Rs 98,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Bajaj has launched the updated Pulsar NS125 ABS variant, with a new colour scheme and a lot of features at Rs 98,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated bike now comes with a new colour scheme, ABS modes, among others, making it even more competitive compared to its rivals. Here’s everything you need to know:
What Is New?
With this update, the bike now gets ABS modes, which modulate the level of ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) intervention. Currently, the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 ABS variant features single-channel ABS, which means the system only acts on the front wheel, preventing it from locking up.

The addition of ABS modes should help make the bike safer and more versatile, especially on roads with varying levels of grip. There are 3 ABS modes: Rain, Road and Off-road. The Rain mode offers the highest level of ABS intervention, whereas the Off-road mode dials it down to a minimum. The Road mode gives a balance between the two.

Pulsar NS200 console used for representation purposes
The bike now also has the same instrument console as the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. The console design is different from the older one, and offers turn-by-turn navigation in addition to the already existing call/SMS alerts.
Lastly, the bike now comes in a new colour scheme called ‘Pearl Metallic White’. It looks quite flashy, and is perfect for riders who have been looking for a sporty white shade. If you want to know about the other colours of the Pulsar NS125, check out our explainer here.
What Remains Unchanged?
The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is still powered by the same 124.45cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, producing 11.9PS and 11Nm. The bike is built on a perimeter frame, and is suspended on a telescopic fork and monoshock.

BikeDekhoSays
We are glad that Bajaj has finally given the NS125 the same set of features that we had seen on higher capacity models like the NS160 and NS200. The top-end ABS variant of the bike had recently seen a price reduction of Rs 9,000 with GST 2.0, with the post-GST price coming to Rs 97,733 (ex-showroom Delhi). This variant has been replaced with the new version with the new features for a premium of just Rs 667. We think that’s a fantastic deal as the bike still maintains its sub-Rs 1 lakh pricing.

The timing is perfect as the GST reduction and Diwali festivities have increased the demand, and Bajaj seems to take advantage of this rush with an updated bike, in its very popular 125cc lineup, which is one of the best sellers in the brand's lineup. It also helps the brand compete better with the TVS Raider 125, which was also updated with several cool features recently. Bajaj has another 125cc bike in it's lineup, the Pulsar N125 and if you are confused between the two, here's our price comparison.
