    Best-Selling Bajaj Bikes

The SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) sales data has been released for the month of September 2025. With the festive season and the GST-related price cuts, there have been some interesting changes in the Month-On-Month (MoM) as well as Year-on-Year (YoY) sales numbers of one of India’s biggest two-wheeler manufacturers – Bajaj Auto. Here’s a list of the top best-selling Bajaj bikes in India in September 2025:

    Bajaj Pulsar 125cc Range

The Bajaj Pulsar 125cc range has three bikes: the Bajaj Pulsar 125, the Bajaj Pulsar N125 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS125. With peppy performance and decent mileage, these bikes strike a good balance between being fun and commute-friendly. With over 91,743 units sold in September 2025 alone, the 125cc Pulsars tallied an impressive 55.65% increase in MoM sales and a 16.73% increase in YoY sales of the range. This puts it in our list of the top 5 best-selling bikes in India during the month of September 2025. One of the reasons could be the fact that the entire Bajaj Pulsar range recently got cheaper due to reduced GST, and festive offers were also announced

With a tally of 62,260 units, the Platina lineup recorded an impressive 59.19% increase in MoM sales. Even the YoY sales increased by 25.08%.

The Bajaj 160-200cc range includes the Bajaj Pulsar N160, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, and Bajaj Pulsar RS200. These bikes have stayed true to the ‘Pulsar’ nameplate, offering exciting performance, that too on a budget.
With sporty design, peppy performance and decent mileage, these bikes are the ideal choice for younger buyers. This lineup saw a 45.31% increase in MoM sales and a 68.61% increase in YoY sales - really healthy numbers, we say!

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been a popular choice for someone who wants a slightly premium commuter, which is fun to ride as well. Buyers love its classic Pulsar design, but it doesn’t seem to be enough. Sure, with21,803 units sold, the Bajaj Pulsar 150’s MoM sales jumped by 8.03%. However, its YoY sales showed a fairly large 31.61% drop. It’s high time Bajaj updates the Pulsar 150 with more modern features.

The Bajaj 200-250cc range has two bikes: The Bajaj Pulsar 220F and the Bajaj Pulsar N250. The former practically made the Pulsar a household name, while the latter is a 250cc, modern, feature-packed streetfighter in the line-up. They saw a 29.74% increase in MoM sales when compared to August 2025. The YoY sales numbers too have increased by 12.67%.

    Bajaj Pulsar N250

Summing up, most of the Bajaj bikes have witnessed a healthy jump in sales this month. According to the ICRA (Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency), the YoY retail sales of two-wheelers grew by 6.5%. The sales were initially slow in the beginning of the month, as buyers were waiting for the GST to be lowered. Once the new GST 2.0 kicked in from September 22, the demand sky-rocketed. The timing was perfect as it coincided with the festive season.

The ICRA also predicted that the two-wheeler sales would grow by 6-9% in FY2026, due to the rising demand in rural areas and better affordability of the two-wheelers now.

      Pulsar N250 - Amazing Machine
I chose this bike for it's looks, easy spare parts availability and uniqueness on roads. This is one of the cheapest 250cc out there. It provides almost all the modern technologies like riding modes, Dual-channel ABS, Traction control, Bluetooth navigation, etc. I liked the seating posture and seat height it is very accessible to all types of riders. I like bikes having good low-end torque for effortless city riding and this machine has very good low to mid range torque so these are the reasons I chose this beautiful machine. The overall ride quality is very good. The suspension is not that stiff and you will definitely feel the adrenaline rush due to it's power. This is a very good city machine as well as capable on highways. On highways you can easily cruise at 80-100 km/h without much stress on the engine. I must say that the engine is very refined and smooth. The pickup is great and it has very good midrange performance. I am getting mileage of around 38 km/l which is decent for a 250cc. You can get mileage of 45 on highways if you cruise at a constant speed. The stability of this bike at speeds of 90-100 is decent but I am not sure about the high stability post 120 km/h. You feel the absence of a 6th gear on highways sometimes but the bike manages the gear ratios pretty well. Overall I'll say this bike has got a very punchy and refined engine. The braking is very good and the front brake response is very satisfying you will feel confident while riding this machine. The exhaust sound is very bassy and head-turning. People will definitely notice you. The pillion seat and rear suspension is a bit on stiffer side but it is good for cities. One thing I must mention is it's class-leading led projector headlights. The throw is very amazing and you will feel confidence on highways. No other bike in this segment provides such powerful headlights. So let's come to conclusion Will I recommend this bike I would say if you love bike having great low and mid range torque refined engine then you should definitely go for N250.But if you want a better highway machine having liquid looked technology and better high speed stability then you can look at NS200. Overall both the bikes have their own pros and cons and it all depends on what kind of rider you are and what you want. At last I would say you can buy N250 it will not disappoint. You will love riding it. I hope this review helps you find your perfect ride, Thanks...

      VERY GOOD PERFORMANCE
Service and maintenance charge is normal, mileage is 50 - 55 kmpl on highway, 45-50 kmpl in cities and streets. Overall, it is a quite good bike with good performance and minimal costs. Everyday rides upto hundred kms can be done easily, I ride daily around 80 kms and it is very easy for me and it's a sports bike even with only 125 CC engine.
