It’s built by Belgium-based motorcycle manufacturer Bullit Motorcycles

Bullit Motorcycles caters to seven European countries.  It has a range of 50cc-250cc neo-retro motorcycles.  The V-Bob 250 is powered by a V-twin engine that makes 17.23PS. It complies with A2 regulations.

Belgium-based bikemaker Bullit Motorcycles has launched an affordable little power cruiser called the V-Bob 250 for the European market. It bears an uncanny resemblance to the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob and even gets a similar engine configuration -- a V-twin! You could even call the V-Bob 250 the poor man's Fat Bob but it isn’t nearly as heavy, powerful or expensive as its Milwaukee idol. In fact, it will be priced at GBP 3,799 (Rs 3.5 lakh) when it arrives at European dealerships in July 2020.

Given, the V-Bob gets a V-twin engine, but it only has 250 cee cees to play with. And the result is a maximum power output of 17.23PS, which is lower than the Yamaha YZF R15 V3. The motor is the same unit that’s seen on the Bullit Bluroc 250, but it uses a belt drive to transfer power to the rear wheel. In terms of hardware, the V-Bob 250 uses a telescopic fork and twin rear shocks disc brakes on both ends.

The V-Bob is primarily meant to be a stylish urban commuter, unlike the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob which is meant to eat you up and spit you out at every given opportunity. It’s simple, easier on the pocket, and the perfect alternative for A2 friendly riders. It also weighs in at just 179kg kerb, making it more accessible to newer riders. It’s available in three colours: grey, black and red.

In case you weren’t aware, Bullit Motorcycles has been around since 2013 and caters to seven European countries including the UK, France, the Netherlands, Germany and Portugal. Its portfolio consists of motorcycles ranging from 50cc to the new 250cc platforms. Each one of these bikes inherits a neo-retro design language.
