The 2019 iteration makes slightly less power than its predecessor
The 2019 Honda Activa 125 was unveiled on June 2019. It is Honda’s first BS6-compliant two-wheeler. Honda will be launching the scooter next month.The registration for the 2019 Honda Activa 125 has been approved by the RTO, and the leaked document has revealed some interesting information about the scooter’s technical specifications. The scooter comes with a 124cc single-cylinder engine which is BS6-compliant, and it produces 8.29PS at 6500rpm. To give you a perspective, the 2018 Honda Activa 125 produces 8.63PS at the same rpm, which is 0.34PS more. The dimensions of the scooter have also been leaked and here are the details:

Interestingly, the wheelbase remains the same as the 2018 Activa. However, the new scooter is 36mm longer, 3mm wider and 19mm taller than its predecessor. The document also reveals that the scooter will be available in three variants: front disc with alloy wheels, drum brakes with alloy wheels and drum brakes with sheet metal wheels.
When it comes to the pricing, the 2019 iteration could start from around Rs 65,000 (ex-showroom). For reference, the 2018 Activa 125 costs Rs 60,347 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the base variant.
