April to June is a transition period for most, and there will be a bunch of two-wheeler launches that will take place in this quarter

April to June is a transition period in more than one way. It covers the onset of monsoons, and the first quarter of the new financial year. Adding to that busy period and to our excitement are all these two-wheelers that might debut in the months in question.

2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350

Royal Enfield’s most iconic bike, the Bullet 350 is likely to be launched this month. It will be a new bike built on the new and lovely J-series platform.

Ducati Monster SP

The Ducati Monster with the SP treatment will come this quarter with premium updated equipment and MotoGP racing livery. It will cost Rs 15,95,000 (ex-showroom India), Rs 3 lakh more than the standard model.

Ducati Panigale V4 R

Followed by the Monster SP, Ducati will debut the Panigale V4R. It is as close a road bike can get to being a race-spec menace. Also 240PS!! Need we say more? It will be priced at Rs 69,99,000 (ex-showroom India). You think it's expensive? You are correct.

Bajaj Pulsar P125

Bajaj has been on a roll with new launches and updates of its existing bikes and it is likely to debut the all-new Pulsar P125 based on the same platform as the Pulsar P150 with a smaller 125cc engine. It is even likely to feature the same design as its older sibling. 

Yamaha R7 & Tenere 700

Rather than a listing, this is a request. Yamaha, it is time to bless your audience in India with the R7 and Tenere, even if it is the CBU route that the motorcycles come through. Could it be that the Japanese bikemaker take pity on us and launch the potent 700s here? We shall find out.

2023 Yamaha FZ25 and Aerox

Yamaha could update its remaining portfolio including the Aerox 155, FZ-25 and FZS-25 to meet the new emission norms and meet OBD-2 compliance. These two-wheelers could command a slight premium over the existing models and might feature new colours and minor upgrades.

Lastly, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The veteran bikemaker teased the new liquid-cooled and premium ADV on its social media handles a couple of months back, so it is highly likely that Royal Enfield might launch the Himalayan 450 in this quarter. Head here for more details of the bike.

BS6.2 updates

Apart from these, in the next couple months, we’ll see a lot of bikemakers launch the updated OBD-2-compliant versions of their current two-wheelers in accordance to the BS6.2 emission norms which kicked in on April 1, 2023.
