Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer Benda has launched the Jinjira, or Jinjila as per simplified Chinese to English translation, cruiser in its domestic market. This 300cc V-twin motorcycle looks like an ideal rival to the Honda Rebel 300. Check out detailed image comparisons of both cruisers below:

Design-wise, the two motorcycles aren’t exactly traditional cruisers. In fact, both of them pack distinct Bobber genes thanks to the chopped fenders, meaty front and rear tyres, and wide handlebars.

Both bikes get an all-LED lighting system. The Benda’s headlamp has a more premium brushed metal finish whereas the Honda Rebel 300’s LED headlight looks minimalistic.

The two motorcycles pack a fully digital instrument cluster. Both show essential information like speed, revs, fuel level, trip meter and odometer readings apart from tell-tale lights.

The Benda Jinjira is powered by a 298cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine that churns out 30PS. While the peak torque hasn’t been revealed, expect it to be around 30Nm. On the other hand, the Honda Rebel 300’s liquid-cooled single-cylinder 286cc engine generates 30.4PS and 27.4Nm.

In true American style, the Benda Jinjira employs a belt drive from Continental. The Honda Rebel 300 employs a traditional chain drive.

The Benda gets a more sophisticated inverted front fork and disc brake with radial caliper whereas the Rebel 300 gets a traditional telescopic front fork, along with a disc brake grabbed by an axial caliper.

Both bikes use conventional twin shock absorbers at the rear. The Benda cruiser rolls on a 15-inch alloy wheel at the rear wrapped with 150-section rubber whereas the Rebel rides on a slightly larger 16-inch alloy wheel shod with 150-section tyre.

The Benda Jinjira is priced at 19,980 Yuan for the base variant and 22,980 Yuan for the top-end variant, which translates to around Rs 2.12 lakh and Rs 2.44 lakh, respectively. The Honda Rebel 300 is only offered in one variant and it retails at 4,499 USD, which is around Rs 3.40 lakh.
