This week witnessed quite a few launches and important developments, so here’s a recap

If you’ve missed out on this week’s two-wheeler news, worry not! We have cherry-picked the top five headlines of the week, and summarised them into one convenient package:

TVS Raider Launched

TVS’ newest launch, the Raider, marks the brand’s re-entry into the 125cc segment. And boy, what an entry the Hosur-based bikemaker has made! The Raider boasts quite a few segment-first features, making it a very promising contender in the growing 125cc motorcycle segment.

Yamaha’s Unveils And Announcements

Yamaha has announced that the updated version of its popular faired bike, the R15V3, is all set to be launched on September 21! From expected pricing to specs and other details, here’s everything you need to know about the R15M.

In the international space, the Japanese bikemaker has unveiled the gorgeously nostalgic special edition liveries for the R3 as well as for the R125. Oh, and the R3 has also been updated to comply with the Euro 5 / BS6 emissions norms, which means its (theoretical) India arrival wouldn’t be too far off. The company has also introduced new liveries for its bigger track tamers, the R7 and the R1

Ola Electric Scooters Purchase Window Timelines

After delays due to technical issues, Ola Electric opened the purchase window for its electric scooters, the S1 and the S1 Pro on September 15. In just two days, the company racked up earning of over Rs 1,100 crore. Worried that you haven’t booked one? Well, fret not, as the purchase window will open again soon.

Honda CRF190L Launched

Sundiro Honda, Honda’s Chinese affiliate, has launched the CRF190L ADV in the country. This is more an off-road-centric version of the road-biased adventure tourer, the CBF190X. However, we believe Honda should have launched a similar motorcycle in India instead of the CB200X. Here’s why.

Royal Enfield Scram Spied Again

The Royal Enfield Himalayan’s more affordable variant, likely to be called the Scram, has been spotted testing once again. Besides, we have spied a few new changes this time around, and you can read all about them here.
