2026 TVS Radeon: What’s New In Terms Of Features? We Explain

If you’ve got the Radeon on your shortlist, the recent festive-season update gives you a good reason to bring it home. The newly launched TVS Radeon facelift gets all-LED lighting: a new LED headlight with an integrated DRL, an LED tail lamp, and even LED turn indicators at the front and rear. The LED tail light and indicators are first in the segment. With these design features, the commuter looks far more modern than before.

Beyond the lighting, the Radeon now also gets bunch of useful features. There are three variants of TVS Radeon: Base (Rs 67,100), Digi (Rs 70,100) and Digi Disc (Rs 73,100, all ex-showroom, Delhi). Here’s a closer look at the new features and whether they are worth the price: 

Convenience Features

The Radeon’s biggest feature is its digital console, but only the Digi variants get it. It’s the same as the one earlier, and the cluster shows a real-time mileage, a clock, service indicator, and a low-fuel indicator. Apart from these, you get the regular set of information: speedometer, tachometer, dual trip meters, odometer, helmet reminder, low-battery indicator, and Eco and Power indicators. The Eco and Power indicators just show how efficiently you’re riding by lighting up the Eco light if ridden with a light throttle, or the Power light if ridden aggressively. It’s not a dedicated riding mode as such, but just gives an indication of your riding style. 

One thing that is still missing in the console is the Bluetooth connectivity or the navigation. The higher end variant also features a Type-C USB charger, which is a new update over the type-A port earlier.

Another update is the Glide Through Technology, which is TVS’ speak for low-rpm assist. While the clutch is already light, this should help in moving through stop-go traffic even more effortlessly. And since the lighting is all-LED, it should put less strain on the battery compared to halogen bulbs as LEDs are generally more efficient. We particularly like the fang-shaped DRLs, as it looks much more modern. The LED tail light also looks quite unique, and the LED indicators are shared with the much more expensive TVS Ronin, which is a neat touch too.

Other already-existing convenience features include a kick start lever, a small luggage rack, utility hook with pillion grab-loop mounted on the right side of the rear suspension.

Safety Features

There’s nothing new as such in terms of safety features. It gets the basics right with a 240mm petal disc brake on the top variant, and a 130mm front drum on the base and mid-variants. All variants get a 110mm rear drum, and a combined braking system, which spreads braking force across the front and rear wheels for safer stops. There’s no ABS, but we’re not really complaining as it will drive up the cost significantly, which isn’t ideal in a price-sensitive 110cc segment. 

As for the tyres, it gets tubeless ones, wrapped on 18-inch alloy wheels. No changes here, but the tubeless tyres are better at handling punctures than tubed ones.

The TVS Radeon is an excellent commuter with a peppy engine. While it was already modern enough with several useful features, the LED lighting and other smaller feature updates make the bike all the more wholesome. We’d definitely recommend the top variant as it offers the safety of a front disc - important when the engine is surprisingly exciting for a commuter.
