Jawa has not tinkered much with the design, but has elegantly enhanced it with a modern powertrain and underpinnings!

Design is reminiscent of the older Jawa motorcycles Gets a 293cc, liquid-cooled engine, producing 27.2PS and 28Nm Comes with a standard single-channel ABS acting on the front disc. Rear gets a drum unit Suspension bits include telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged shock absorbers

Jawa's upcoming 300cc motorcycle has been spotted yet again. However, this time, the bike has been spied sans any camouflage. It looks a lot similar to the older Jawa motorcycles, particularly the Jawa 350 Type 360, which was launched back in 1964. The iconic maroon paint with gold pinstripes and chrome finish on the sides of the fuel tank seem to have been inspired from its forefathers. Even the round headlamp comes with the same curvaceous bezel that morphs into the fork cover down below.

The cover houses traditional telescopic units, while the spoke wheels come with generously-sized fenders which look properly retro and seem to be functional as well. The switchgear looks premium, and the round rearview mirror with chrome finish gives the motorcycle an authentic vintage look.

The premium-looking single-piece seat appears to be low enough, which should prove to be a boon for shorter riders. We expect it to be comfortable to encourage long-distance riding as well. While the body-coloured grab rail may look a little crude, it is properly functional.

The bike is built on a double downtube frame, with the radiator nestling between the downtubes. Unlike the test mule that was spotted earlier this month, this one's exhaust pipe layout is similar to the engine revealed officially. The DOHC, liquid-cooled powerplant produces 27.2PS and 28Nm, and works in conjunction with a 6-speed gearbox.

At the rear, the bike gets twin gas-charged shock absorbers. For braking, there's a front disc and a rear drum unit. A sensor ring is visible in the front disc, suggesting that the motorcycle will be offered with a single-channel ABS as standard. The wheels look similar sized and are likely to be wrapped with MRF tyres.

Jawa will reveal the motorcycle on November 15. When launched, it will compete with the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, Classic 350 and UM Renegade Commando Classic in the Indian market.
