- Smoething uncommon and awesome.Retro classic look and I wanted a bike which should be uncommon in all my bikers friends. Generally, I prefer bike for long drive and bike riding is my passion. After test drive of the bike from my friend in Mumbai, I made up my mind to go for this one only. Very much comfortable in long run. Pickup and speed is simply awesome. What more I should say everything of the bike is perfect and smooth. This is a good choice for long drive. You will be definitely surprised once you ride on this bike. The person who is looking for something different and uncommon should go for this bike for long drive. Looks also very awesome and suspension is also meant for smooth riding experience. - Good Partner to haveI had the best experience on my recent trip to Ladakh. I went on a ride with my Renegade Classic and I did not face any major issue that too was manageable as I attended their technical workshop last year and since then small issues I can handle myself when I am on such trips. UM Renegade Commando Classic Latest Updates
UM Motorcycles have launched the new Renegade Classic at Rs 1. 89 lakh (ex-Delhi). The new motorcycle will compete against the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 and is the third motorcycle from UM for India after the Renegade Sports S and Renegade Commando. The bike looks similar to the Commando but it gets the addition of windscreen and some chrome parts to give it the quintessential cruiser look. The bike was first showcased to Indian audiences at the 2016 Auto Expo in Noida and had received positive response.
The launch of the bike had been delayed as UM Motorcycles decided to equip the new cruiser motorcycle with fuel injection system instead of a carburettor unit as seen on the current Renegade duo. Powering the motorcycle will be the same 278cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine that develops 25PS of power and 22Nm of torque, though we feel that fuel injection would have helped UM engineers in extracting marginally more power and torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. The cruiser bike employs telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear to handle suspension duties.
