5 Top Bike News From The Past Week
An exciting week full of first-sightings and spy shots!

The last week of April 2023 was just as exciting as the week that preceded it, beginning with the first look at the 2023 KTM 390 Duke completely unmasked and ending with the first sighting of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 350. So, here is a quick rundown of the key developments in the two-wheeler industry this week:
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 & Shotgun 350 Spied

Out of nowhere in the middle of the week we got the clearest and detailed look at the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 so far! The test mule was caught standing by the roadside in an awkward cardboard dress, which the ADV looked very uncomfortable in. And then we ended the week with the first sighting of the Shotgun 350 with its ape hanger handlebars and white walled tyres. Even the larger Royal Enfield 650cc bobber was spotted again giving us a closer look at some of its details. Finally, we spied on Royal Enfield’s sportiest bike yet- likely the Hunter 450cc, a bike with the potential to rival the KTM 390 Duke.
2023 KTM 390 Duke & Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 Spied

These European hooligans were spied this week but both hold a different promise. The 2023 KTM 390 Duke has been one of the most anticipated updates in the KTM family. It brings with it a new era as it is armed to the teeth with updates. This motorcycle has been slowly developing and testing over the past year and finally we caught a first unmasked look at it and it looks handsome!
Similarly, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 which has been retailing exclusively abroad, despite being made in India, has finally been spied here and here’s what could be in store for us.
EV News

In EV news this week - Okinawa launched the updated versions of PraisePro and IPraise Plus. Both scooters are likely to get better ride and handling with new advanced features. Your next local delivery person could ride in with your parcel on a Gogoro E-scooter. Part of its pilot project in the Delhi-NCR region, Gogoro has deployed 90 e-scoots and six battery swapping stations across the region for testing and gathering data to make e-scooters for the common man. Simple says this One is the Final launch date, Pakka…promise. Waiting for an e-scooter that was unveiled two years ago is not that simple!
Peugeot 125cc Scooter Spied

In yet another test bike/scooter sighting this week, Peugeot’s 125cc scooter was spotted once again. The Peugeot Django 125 has been sighted a few times before too, but this time it looked closer to being production ready.
Hero Xtreme 200S 4V

Out of the blue the new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V was spied on in what looked like a dealership event. Standing a sporty new yellow, this also meant the 200S finally gets 4-valve tech like its Xpulse siblings. Good upgrade needless to say.
So those were the top highlights of last week and next week we will be ushering in the month of May and we’re hoping it will be an action packed month too!

Worth it..This is an excellent bike and had great fun riding. The back seat is include along with the bike. Had 1250km run including office travel and long rides and it has been fun doing both. Great comfort. The sheet metal grey gives a batmobile feel and experience. Looks damn good without the back seat, I generally carry it in my backpack.Read More
