Simple One e-Scooter (Final) Launch Date Revealed
This comes after two years since the e-scooter was initially unveiled

The Simple One finally has a launch date, and it is May 26, 2023. This comes not one but two years since the e-scooter was initially unveiled and has kept us eagerly waiting for the same. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to test out a pre-production version of the e-scooter last year and it is fair to say that we were mesmerised by it. Head here for the review.
With the multiple delay in the launch and delivery timelines, what remains to be seen is if the potential buyers are still hooked to the e-scooter, or have gone with one of the multiple rivals. Despite the early unveil, and the ride, the One has been in the development stage for quite some time now. It even gets more performance and range now, it claims a whopping 300km of IDC range.

We hope that the deliveries of the e-scooter begin in May itself as well. Adding to that, we also hope that the prices of the One remain the same as promised earlier — Rs 1,09,999 (ex-Bengaluru, incl FAME-II subsidies) for the standard model and Rs 1,44,999 for the extended battery pack version.
It goes up against the likes of the Ather 450X and Ola S1 Pro e-scooters.

- Range IssueIt’s been 3 weeks I bought Simple One in Bangalore Marathahalli Showroom. While buying g this I had enquired Ather, Ola as well. Ather was fantastic but didn’t go for it because of its low range. OLA didn’t like riding comfort and also due the on going service issues didn’t preferred. Finally I choose Simple one over Ather because of only one reason ‘190’ km range what they claimed. But it it really failed and didn’t meet the said range, so far I had driven 210km mostly in Eco mode only (max 20km would have driven in ride mode which is is just above the Eco mode) and charged 3 times. When I raise this issue to service centre they have updated software and assured the problem should be solved. Surprisingly the issue still exist and it gave me only ~60km in a full charge, when I raise this issue to service centre (Mahadevapura, Blr) they said scooter has to ride at least 500km then things will fall in place. If that’s the case don’t know why they didn’t told me when I raised initiallyRead More2
