Deliveries Of The Simple One e-Scooter Delayed Yet Again
Buyers will now get the e-scooter in the first quarter of 2023

Simple Energy has some news for us, but it's something that the EV manufacturer has given to us before. Well, the deliveries of the Simple One e-scooter have been delayed once again, and now will commence in the first quarter of 2023.
Before this announcement, the deliveries of the e-scooter were to take place in October 2022, which was pushed from September, which was actually pushed ahead from July. Phew. Simple Energy says that the latest delay is because the e-scooter will now be compliant with the new battery standards.

The new battery standards laid out by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) include testing the battery and its components and ensuring that they are designed to operate in Indian conditions.
That said, what’s assuring is that hopefully, all the delays will amount to the Simple One e-scooter being an even better version of itself, since its initial launch in August 2021. Simple now claims that the One offers the highest range and most torque among all the e-scooters in the country. We were also quite impressed by the One on its first ride review. Head here to find out what we liked and disliked about it.

- Range IssueIt’s been 3 weeks I bought Simple One in Bangalore Marathahalli Showroom. While buying g this I had enquired Ather, Ola as well. Ather was fantastic but didn’t go for it because of its low range. OLA didn’t like riding comfort and also due the on going service issues didn’t preferred. Finally I choose Simple one over Ather because of only one reason ‘190’ km range what they claimed. But it it really failed and didn’t meet the said range, so far I had driven 210km mostly in Eco mode only (max 20km would have driven in ride mode which is is just above the Eco mode) and charged 3 times. When I raise this issue to service centre they have updated software and assured the problem should be solved. Surprisingly the issue still exist and it gave me only ~60km in a full charge, when I raise this issue to service centre (Mahadevapura, Blr) they said scooter has to ride at least 500km then things will fall in place. If that’s the case don’t know why they didn’t told me when I raised initiallyRead More2
