The different variants offer 4 battery capacities and range combinations, allowing buyers to choose a version based on their requirements and budget.

    Colours Options

Being a family-oriented scooter, the Wave also focuses on everyday practicality and ease of use. It gets a massive 70-litre underseat storage, which is the largest in the segment. It also gets a quick access boot placed on the side panels (called Pill Storage), which can be used to store small, but important things (the second storage is available as an accessory). There are also storage compartments on the front apron for added convenience.

Suspension duties are handled by conventional telescopic fork and a rear monoshock. It gets the longest seat in the segment at 920 mm, and an accessible seat height of 775 mm, while the ground clearance is 175 mm. The Wave gets 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends (with 90-section tyres), while braking duties are handled by a 220 mm front disc, and rear drum brake setup along with CBS (combined braking system). The brand has also given the Wave a traction control system for added safety.

    Competition

The Simple Wave will rival the likes of the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Hero Vida VX2 and the newly launched Ather Konarc. Its combination of multiple variants, claimed range of up to 243  km and connected features, makes it a strong proposition in the segment.

    BikeDekho Says

The Simple Wave marks an important step for the company as it looks to enter the more mass-market, family-oriented electric scooter space. Unlike Simple Energy’s more performance-focused products, the Wave is designed around everyday usability, practicality and affordability.

With a claimed range of up to 243 km, a massive 70-litre boot space, and long-list of features, the Wave looks quite promising on paper.
