Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 Launched
Royal Enfield has launched the Himalayan 440 at Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai) with a more powerful engine and updated features but with the same adventure spirit.
Simple Wave Launched
Simple Energy launched their first family-oriented electric scooter, the Wave, starting at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The scooter comes in three variants and four battery pack options, with IDC-claimed range going up to 243 km.
Ampere Xyber Electric Bike Design Patented In India
Ampere Electric filed the patent for its Xyber electric bike in India. The Xyber was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo in 2025.
Honda UC3 Design Patented In India
Honda has also filed for a patent on its maxi-styled scooter, the UC3. The scooter is being sold in South Asian countries and carries a premium design.
India Bike Week 2026 Dates Announced
Asia’s largest motorcycle festival, India Bike Week (IBW), has announced dates for its 2026 edition. This event features stunt shows, music concerts, motorcycle races and many more fun activities.
