Suzuki Gixxer 250 Price Revealed, Unofficial Bookings Started

Suzuki will launch the new Gixxer SF 250 on May 20 

• Some dealerships in Mumbai have begun accepting orders for a booking amount of Rs 10,000.
• The Gixxer SF 250 will undercut the Honda CBR250R.
• It is powered by an all-new 249cc, single-cylinder motor.

Suzuki is all set to launch the new Gixxer SF 250 on May 20. As per our sources, the new Gixxer SF 250 is likely to be priced around Rs 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). Some dealers in Mumbai have even begun accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs 10,000. If Suzuki launches the Gixxer SF 250 at this price, it will undercut its chief rival, the Honda CBR250R by around Rs 15,000. On the other hand, it will be around Rs 37,000 more expensive than the Yamaha Fazer 25. 

A few days back, technical specifications of the Gixxer SF 250 were leaked online. The new fully faired Suzuki motorcycle is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder motor that is air/oil-cooled. The all-new engine produces 26.5PS of power and 22.6Nm of torque, which is almost identical to the CBR250R (26.5PS/22.9Nm). Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed gearbox.
