    Overview

The Fazer 25 is the faired version of the FZ25, similar to what the Fazer-FI is to the FZ16 v2.0. However, unlike the Fazer-FI or the larger Fazer variants sold abroad with a half fairing, the Fazer 25 gets a full fairing. The fairing is designed around the FZ25's headlamp. The headlamp is the same LED setup as the FZ25. The fairing has integrated LED DRLs and dummy air scoops on both sides of the headlamp. It also gets a tinted floating flyscreen. Rest of the bodywork looks borrowed from the FZ25.The Fazer 25 gets a two-tone paint job. The Fazer 250's 249cc air- and oil-cooled and fuel-injected motor makes 20.9PS at 8000rpm and 20Nm of torque at 6000rpm. Mechanically, the Fazer 25 is identical to the FZ25.

    Design

The Fazer 25 gets a full-fairing. The front fairing is designed around the FZ25's headlamp and has a flatter profile. The headlamp has the same LED setup as the FZ25, though the fairing has integrated LED DRLs. It also has dummy air scoops on both sides of the headlamp. topped off with a tinted floating flyscreen above. Rest of the bodywork looks borrowed from the FZ25. The tinted floating fly screen has the number plate holder mounted across it. The mirrors are mounted on the fairing. Beyond the fairing, the tank and rear body panel are similar to the FZ25. The bike gets a two-tone paint-finish for a more premium appeal.

    Engine, Mileage & Performance

Powering the Fazer 25 is the FZ25's 249cc air- and oil-cooled and fuel-injected motor which makes 20.9PS at 8000rpm and 20Nm of torque at 6000rpm. Performance and handling are expected to be different from the FZ25 as the fairing has added extra weight.

      Speed with comfort. Suspension Modified.
Actually, I was going for FZ25. But the fairing was what attracted me. So I went with Fazer 25. When I test-ride it, the acceleration I felt was good, and I was also planning to go for touring mostly. So this bike is good for touring and for daily commuting in a higher CC range. The ride is really good. I am now changing the suspension to get more ground clearance. I am using xpulse 2004v Suspension in the rear and Himalayan 411 Fork Piston rod to increase the height using 20W fork oil, that's it. Comfort is the first thing, long rides no problem, Speed is good, Max is 144 kmph. The engine is good. Overall, the bike is great, but the ground clearance is the issue when sitting with a pillion, we can easily fix that by tightening the rear suspension and by using 20W fork oil for the front.

Best Sports Tourer in 250cc segment.
it's a really great sports tourer, has best sitting position for long rides. I have been using this since 2017, the engine response still the same after years of use. Top speed achieved 140 kmph and 37-39 mileage in mixed condition. in heavy traffic it gives around 35kmpl. really a great vehicle. Good ground clearance also.

      Yamaha Fazer 25 FZF 250
FZF 25 has got the one of the world's best petrol consumption. Design & Styling is unmatched. Feels very stable, strong & confidence while riding. Best in corner cutting & control. I achieved maximum petrol mileage/average is 44 kmpl which is more than specified average of 43 kmpl. Lowest mileage/average touched is 37 kmpl. A complete 5 star performance is experienced.

      Good bike.
Yamaha has done a decent job with this bike, its the cheapest 250cc bike in India. Though power figures are low compared to other bikes in the same segment, still it's a breeze to ride in the city. Its 20NM torque kicks in early at around 6000rpm, helping to have a great pick up. Its seating position is also comfortable for daily use. The only drawback that I feel the lack of 6th gear, which would have been great for highway rides.
