The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 is priced at Rs 3,64,856 (ex-showroom), which is a pretty affordable price tag for a bike with such an iconic nameplate and a 650cc engine. Meant for a relaxed cruising experience on the highways, the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 has a commanding road presence.
If you want to look at other motorcycles around the same price point, here are some alternatives with completely different experiences to consider:
1. KTM 390 Adventure R
Price: Rs 3,77,914 (ex-showroom Delhi)
The KTM 390 Adventure R is one of the most capable adventure motorcycles you can buy in this price range. Unlike the Bullet 650, which is primarily designed for relaxed cruising on the road, the 390 Adventure R is built for versatility.
The ADV is powered by a 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 46PS and 39Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It gets an inverted fork and a monoshock with adjustability at both ends and 230mm of wheel travel at both ends. It gets a 21/18-inch spoke wheel setup, 270mm of ground clearance and a seat height of 880mm.
The purpose-built ADV platform, long-travel suspension, high ground clearance and a 21-inch front wheel make it very capable off-road. The motor produces significantly more power than the Bullet 650. With features like traction control, multiple ride modes, and cornering ABS, the list is quite extensive.
The Bullet 650 is about laid-back cruising and old-school charm, whereas the KTM 390 Adventure R is about exploration and performance. If your riding includes highways as well as off-road terrain, the KTM offers far more capability. You should choose the KTM 390 Adventure R if you want one motorcycle that can do everything: commute, tour and go off-road.
2. KTM RC 390
Price: Rs 3,22,719 (ex-showroom Delhi)
The KTM RC 390 is a fully faired bike known for its rev-happy engine. The 373cc engine has got you covered with enough power for the twisties and for the highways. The bike offers excellent handling and a perfectly tuned WP suspension setup. It comes with extensive list of features — a TFT display with bluetooth connectivity, traction control, a quickshifter and a lean-sensitive cornering ABS
Meanwhile the Bullet focuses on a relaxed riding position, while the RC 390 demands commitment and handles with precision. But it is not as comfortable as the Bullet on the highways.
Pick the KTM RC 390 if your priority is performance, features and a sportbike experience rather than comfort and cruising
3. Aprilia Tuono 457
Price: Rs 4,01,226 (ex-showroom Delhi)
The Aprilia Tuono 457 is one of the most exciting motorcycles in this price segment. It blends aggressive styling with smooth twin-cylinder performance and agile handling characteristics. The bike looks muscular and the exposed frame adds to the character. The overall fit and finish is very good and the Puma Grey colour option looks the most soothing while the Piranha Red colour option is very striking.
The features list consists of a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity for navigation and call/SMS alerts. It also gets multiple ride modes, adjustable levers and traction control. The 457cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine feels very refined, revs all the way to the redline with a linear power delivery. The low-end and mid-range grunt is great and the good top-end performance allows the Tuono 457 to handle speeds of 110kmph-120kmph with ease. And combine that with the excellent handling capabilities, the Tuono is a very fun and engaging motorcycle to ride.
4. KTM 390 Duke R
Price: Rs 3,39,001 (ex-showroom Delhi)
The KTM 390 Duke R is the definition of a sub-400cc streetfighter that looks menacing and has more than enough performance to complement those looks. The fuel tank extensions and the sharp design lines gives the bike an aggressive road presence. Powering the streetfighter is a 398.63cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 46PS and 39Nm. It is quite a high-revving engine and it delivers hair raising performance past the 5,500rpm mark.
The KTM 390 Duke R is quite agile around the corners. The suspension is a bit on the stiffer side but that adds to its sporty character. The features are very extensive as it gets a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. It also gets multiple riding modes, traction control, cornering ABS, supermoto ABS, launch control and quickshifter.
5. Royal Enfield Interceptor 650
Price: Rs 3,35,394 - Rs 3,66,390 (ex-showroom Delhi)
The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is one of the seven motorcycles in Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform along with the Bullet 650. It is powered by a 648cc, inline twin-cylinder engine producing 47.45PS at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm at 5,150rpm. The motor provides good low-end and mid-range grunt and can handle triple digit speeds on the highway quite easily. The handling is agile enough to have fun on the mountain twisties and the suspension setup offers a comfortable riding experience while touring.
As a retro bike, the features list is quite basic. It gets a round tachometer and a round speedometer with a digital inset that shows odometer and fuel gauge readings. It also gets a USB charging port. The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 looks classy and is fun to ride and it is a good choice to consider if you are looking for a 650cc retro roadster.

- Dont buy if you are underweightI choose this bike because. It gives you good features in this range and it moves smoothly on highways as compare to city but it is comfortable in city also. If you are buying this for long drives then you should buy this. Smooth on highway as compare to city its feature are far better than any other bikes and handling is so smooth if you are beginer than you should buy this one it will give you comfort while riding the bike. You should have Muscle power to control this above 20 year old person should buy this because if customer weight is not much then he can't even move it while off.
