Honda's current BS6 portfolio consists of the Honda Activa 125, Activa 6G and Dio

Dealer sources have confirmed that the Honda Cliq and Navi won't make the cut for BS6 emission norms. In other words, they have been pulled off the shelf for good. Honda's current BS6 portfolio consists of the Honda Activa 125, Activa 6G, and Dio. The Grazia 125 is expected to skip the BS6 culling.

Both the Cliq and Navi have been victims of poor demand and sales. As a result, the scooters haven’t even made it to dealerships in the last six months or so. They simply failed to impress the masses who've been spoilt for choice.

The Cliq was designed to be simple yet robust, meant for the rural areas. At Rs 45,329, the scooter undercut the Activa 5G by around Rs 10,000, but failed to reel in the numbers for the brand. It was powered by a 110cc engine that made 8PS and around 9Nm of torque. Its braking hardware consisted of 130mm drum brakes both at the front and the rear, assisted by Honda’s Combined Braking System (CBS).

The Honda Navi is easily the quirkiest of them all -- small in stature, yet a whole lotta fun to ride. Essentially a scooter in a bike’s body. One could say it was Honda's interpretation of a monkey bike with a CVT transmission. The Navi drew a lot of attention when it was launched back in 2016 at Rs 45,632. Unfortunately, the demand fizzled out within a couple of months. It was only logical for Honda to pull the plug on the scooter.
