Yezdi establishes 12 new dealerships across the Northeast and also announces its annual Taktsang Trail Ride

It’s ideal if you end up not needing any, but super frustrating when you do and find no dealership for support. Having recently entered the arena of adventure riding, Yezdi is ensuring – off the bat– that these critical touchpoints are covered early on, in order to become a touring-friendly brand. The classic bikemaker has conducted multiple rider-training camps across the country and now, along with setting up 12 new dealerships across the Northeast, has also announced a 1,000km tour traversing the region.  

Learning from Royal Enfield, a brand that has nearly perfected this ‘lifestyle touring’ model in destinations like Leh and Ladakh, Yezdi has commenced its annual Taktsang Trail Ride in the Northeast. The two-fold strategy is simple: Part one involves a 1,000km ride with 14 customers under the guidance of trained off-road riders who will help simplify adventure touring in a safe and controlled environment; step two involves Yezdi setting up 12 new dealerships across the “seven sisters” to ensure its dealer footprint is wide and well spread out, even in the farthest corners of India.

Moto-tourism is developing rapidly in the Northeast. The Yezdi tour travels through Dimapur, Jorhat, Itanagar, Tezpur, and Guwahati. These locations will have Yezdi dealerships and a well spread out service network that should allow exploring the Northeast on Yezdi motorcycles a lot more hassle-free in the future.
