This upcoming sub-brand could be commuter-centric
-
Multiple Pulsar upgrades and new models planned
Bajaj is preparing to introduce a new bike sub-brand in the 125-250cc space later this year. Speaking to a media house, Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj said that the upcoming brand will help the company expand its reach in the most competitive and fastest-growing segments.

The new lineup is expected to arrive before the festive season and may include multiple models. This space already plays a crucial role in Bajaj’s portfolio, with popular products from the Bajaj Pulsar Bike range.
Commuter & ADV Sub-Brand Expectations
Expect this new sub-brand to be more commuter-friendly rather than sporty like the Pulsars. This should help Bajaj fend off the growing competition from Hero, TVS, and Honda in the commuter and premium commuter space. Perhaps, the Bajaj Discover nameplate may just be revived, or a new sub-brand may be introduced altogether.

The brand is also looking to explore new bike types including dual-sport, adventure, and off-road models – which could be part of the upcoming launches. These may possibly keep the Bajaj Dominar as a base. Afterall, the Dominar’s liquid-cooled powertrain is pretty potent for touring, and by extension, trail-roading. In fact, Bajaj had registered trademarks of a few names back in 2024: Bajaj Trekker, Marathon, and Glider. Expect the upcoming Bajaj adventure bike sub-brand to have one of these names.
Pulsars To Get Major Upgrades
Alongside the new sub-brand, Bajaj will roll out updates to several Pulsar bikes in phases throughout the year. These upgrades are part of a broader plan to refresh its lineup and maintain its strong position in the 125cc+ category, where the company has recently improved its market share. The company is planning an aggressive launch schedule, with up to eight new models expected over the next four to five months. This includes both refreshed versions of existing models and completely new products.

New KTM & Triumph Bikes
Now that Bajaj has taken full ownership of KTM, it seems to have its hands full with several launches. In fact, new colours for the 250 Duke were launched recently; the 200 Duke got updated; and the RC 160 also got a bit cooler-looking. What’s more, Bajaj’s partner Triumph is also gearing up to launch a new Royal Enfield 350cc rival.

VERY GOOD PERFORMANCEService and maintenance charge is normal, mileage is 50 - 55 kmpl on highway, 45-50 kmpl in cities and streets. Overall, it is a quite good bike with good performance and minimal costs. Everyday rides upto hundred kms can be done easily, I ride daily around 80 kms and it is very easy for me and it's a sports bike even with only 125 CC engine.Read More
Good bike for youngstersGood handling and medium breaking, medium performance for short time city and highway riding, good sharp stylish looking naked bike, good road presence, low service charge with medium mileage 30 to 40 kmpl. Long ride comfort is not good after 100km. Wrist pain and shoulder pain, good handling bike. It's give you confidence to flicker very easily. Front break is good stopping power but too much abs kicking problem, rear brake is not good, no stopping power. Top speed after 2nd service 124 highest, mileage not that good 40 km after simple riding. If you ride aggressively, mileage can drop upto 30-25 kmpl. Can recommend this bike to the youngsters who go to college and those who want to explore many places on bike. Short time riding and some time aggressive riding and those who want naked sports bike in low cc and low service charge bike, this is good for them.Read More
Duke 250 reviewAmazing bike and very beginner friendly. Duke 250 GEN 3 is one of the most amazing beginner bikes to learn how to ride on. It comes with dual ABS and good features that really sold it for me. I had this bike for 2 years now and I can vouch on the handling, servicing and mileage aspects is one of the best.Read More
It is the best.I chose the Triumph Speed 400 for its perfect blend of timeless british styling, refined performance, premium build quality, everyday comfort and the pure joy it brings on every ride. Love it. Try it. The Speed 400 feels smooth, confident and fun on every ride. Whether it's city streets or open highways, it delivers comfort, performance. I smile every time I twist the throttle. You should go for long ride too. I would recommend this bike to everyone who is very keen to riding. Go for the extra aux lights, the present stock one is bit lower side, compare to the cars it is low. Bike is best for daily commute.Read More
I’m loving itBajaj Pulsar RS200 is a great bike if you are looking for thrill and throttle. The performance is really good but the comfort is compromised due to the obvious nature of the bike. Stylish look and modern design makes the bike look adorable. I trust Bajaj and their Pulsar RS 200 also because the bike is fairly priced at around 1.7 lac.Read More
