Next-gen Bajaj Pulsar Classic Range India Launch Likely In 2026

    Quick Highlights:

    • Major updates reportedly planned for Bajaj Pulsar Classic range in 2026

    • It’s said to have upgrades to the chassis and engine

    • Reported to be launched just before the festive season, next year

We’d already reported recently that the Bajaj Pulsar brand completes 25 years in India, and as part of the celebrations, the brand intends to launch multiple Pulsar bikes in 2026. Now, it’s reported that the Classic Pulsar range, in particular, will witness a major upgrade.

    New-gen Bajaj Pulsar Classic Series

Even though the Pulsar family has become modernised, the Classic Pulsar range still remains popular. According to an online report, the first ones to be updated will be the Bajaj Pulsar 125, and the Bajaj Pulsar 150. The next-generation Pulsar Classic motorcycles will  reportedly be built on an all-new platform. It’s said to use a new frame, that too with monoshock as opposed to the current double-cradle frame on the classic Bajaj Pulsar bikes. Along with the frame, the engines are also expected to be updated. That said, any major increase in power and torque is unlikely. We hope it gets even more refined than before, in addition to complying with the latest fuel and emission norms.

    New-gen Bajaj Pulsar Classic Series

Even though Bajaj might update the frame, we believe the overall design language will still remain largely unchanged as Pulsar fans love the familiarity factor associated with the classic Pulsar family. It might however, have modernised lighting, just like the ones we saw on the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 recently. Along with this, expect top variants to come with TFT consoles with smartphone connectivity as well.  As for the pricing, Bajaj will have to ensure that they don’t get too costly over the existing bikes, even if they have substantial changes to the frame and other parts. With this logic, we reckon it could cost around Rs 5,000 over the existing models, which start from Rs 85,633 for the Pulsar 125, and Rs 1,05,144 for the Pulsar 150 (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).

    New-gen Bajaj Pulsar Classic Series

It’s reported that the updated Pulsar Classic range will likely be launched around August 2026. If all these indeed turn out to be true, then the just-launched 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 will have a very short shelf life. It’s just a matter of time until we have clarity on this, so stay tuned.
