It also gets new colour schemes and neat graphics

    Bajaj Pulsar 150 Launched

Shortly after being seen at select dealerships, the updated Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been launched in the country. The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 comes with a new headlight cowl, that too with an all-LED headlight. Even the indicators are now LEDs, making the whole lighting system fully-LED. This is the first time a Classic Pulsar gets full-LED treatment.

Another added bonus: the bike gets new colour schemes and new graphics that look very neatly done. The bike comes in blue, green, grey and red, and out of these, the green one is certainly our favourite. It gets a green base layer (pretty unique for a Pulsar, right?), and orange highlights throughout the bodywork that nicely highlight the sporty intent. We’d like to think of it as KTM genes, now that Bajaj has taken control over the Austrian bikemaker.

    Bajaj Pulsar 150 Red

Also, the updated Bajaj Pulsar 150 gets a new variant that slots between the base and the top variant. Here is the variant-wise price break-down, including the price difference over the older Pulsar 150:

    Bajaj Pulsar 150 Variants

    Ex-showroom Delhi Price

    Price Difference

Bajaj Pulsar 150 SD (Single Disc)

    Rs 1,08,772

    Rs 3,628 costlier

Bajaj Pulsar 150 SD UG (Single Disc, Upgraded version) – NEW

    Rs 1,11,669

    -

Bajaj Pulsar 150 TD UG (Twin Disc, Upgraded version)

    Rs 1,15,481

    Rs 3,806 costlier

Interestingly, the price of the new middle variant is pretty much the same as the price of the older-gen top variant. So with this, Bajaj seems to give customers the option of going for the slightly sportier styled UG variant (gets split seats, split grab rails, a kick-starter, and tyre hugger-delete when compared to the base version) but without spending too much.

    Bajaj Pulsar 150 New Colours

There are no other changes apart from the lighting and colours, the bike remains the same in terms of engine specs (14PS, 13.4Nm), and underpinnings. The motorcycle is available across Bajaj dealerships in India.

All in all, while the new LED upgrade makes the classic Pulsar look fresh, we’ll have to wait and see whether OG Pulsar fans like this design or not. Afterall, Pulsar enthusiasts love the bike’s familiarity, and that has played a huge role in consistent sales all these years. Here’s an example: Bajaj tried to retire the Pulsar 220F and bring in its spiritual successor, the Pulsar 250F. However, fans really wanted the Pulsar 220F back, so the brand re-introduced it, and slowly phased out the Pulsar 250F later. Will things be different this time? We’ll know in 2026.

Speaking of 2026, Bajaj is reportedly planning to launch yet another new-generation version of the Classic Pulsar. In a related development, Bajaj has announced offers for the Pulsar range as part of the Pulsar brand’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

      A True All-Rounder in the 150cc Segment
I chose this bike because it feels smooth and stable on highways while still offering good control in the city, even though the suspension feels slightly stiff on rough roads. It gives good mileage, looks stylish and is comfortable enough for family rides, making it a practical and reliable choice. The ride so far has been very satisfying. It feels comfortable for daily use, gives good mileage and has strong pickup. Handling is stable and confident, especially on highways where it feels smooth and controlled even at higher speeds. Yes, I would recommend this bike. I bought it mainly for daily office travel and occasional weekend rides. It gives me decent mileage and the pickup is good enough for city traffic. On highways it feels stable and confident. The suspension is slightly stiff on rough roads but overall comfort is fine. If someone wants a practical, stylish and reliable bike in this budget, this is a good choice.

      bike is powerful
Common disadvantages of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 include vibrations, a lack of a sixth gear, weak suspension, older design, potential for poor quality parts/service, and less stability in sudden braking at high speeds, while some users note issues with back pain due to seating and headlight design not meeting modern expectations, though it offers good city performance and mileage for its price.
