One of India's leading two-wheeler makers, TVS Motor Company today announced its support for racer Arjun Maini. He said that this association would help himdo better in GP3 and it being a reflection of the growing attention given to motorsports in India. He also talked about TVS Racing and its role in cultivating interest in motorsports in India as well as being the first factory racing team of the country.

Arjun started his career in motorsports with karting in 2006. He won his first race in September 2007 and became the MRF MAII Rotax Mini Max National Champion in the same year. He also talked about TVS Racing being India's oldest motorcycle factory racing team and the under-representation of the country in the international motorsports arena. He added that in 2015, TVS Motor Company was the first Indian manufacturer to participate in the Dakar rally. In that light, he said TVS Motor Company would be supporting Arjun Maini. In the end, he called GP3 to be just a beginning and that the association with Arjun Maini is a long-term decision. He expects to leverage the association across TVS Motor Company's footprint in over 50 countries.
