From e-scooters to commuter motorcycles, we are spoilt with choices

After waiting for more than a year, TVS has finally launched the top-spec SmartXonnect variant of the Raider, which comes packed with geeky features. However, it does command a significant premium of Rs 6,501 over the disc variant and is priced at Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom Delhi). But if you are not impressed by it then you can opt for any of these alternatives in the same price range.

Ola S1 - Rs 99,999

If you wish to go green, then the Ola S1 e-scooter is the perfect alternative to the Raider SmartXonnect. At just Rs nine more, the Ola S1 offers a tonne of more features including full-fledged navigation, a speaker, touchscreen console, oh and it will be more economical considering the soaring fuel prices.

TVS NTorq 125 XT - Rs 99,961

Don’t want the hassle of shifting gears, but would love the performance? Then opt for the TVS NTorq 125 sporty scooter. It doesn’t only look good but is also the most feature-packed and powerful 125cc scooter in the country right now.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 - Rs 1,04,448

A commuter and a sporty bike. The iconic Bajaj Pulsar 150 does everything that an everyday bike would need to do. And all that at the same price bracket as the Raider, while offering a bigger 149.50cc engine making 14PS of power. Oh, and it is also the most powerful 150cc bike in India at present.

Honda Unicorn - Rs.1,05,037

Accompanying the Pulsar on this list is the Honda Unicorn, another commuter that is known for its comfort and a bit for its performance as well. If you are looking for an everyday, comfortable, no-nonsense bike, then the Unicorn is the perfect alternative at just Rs 5,000 more.

Oben Rorr - Rs 1,02,999

Oben Rorr

Lastly, we have a contender from a niche yet growing segment of electric bikes. The Oben Rorr, is the perfect alternative to an ICE 125cc bike. The Rorr sports a rather unconventional and blocky design that is sure to turn heads and well, an electric motor and battery pack will surely be more pocket friendly in terms of everyday riding.
