Here are 5 middleweight bikes that you can upgrade to from your beginner bike

Indian motorcycling enthusiasts now have a wide choice of entry-level performance bikes, and at fantastic prices. Once a plaything for the rich, the sub-500cc segment has become accessible to everyone. Here are 5 of the best bikes in India under 500cc, whether you are upgrading from your first bike, or if you want a smaller bike to accompany your bigger bike in the garage:
KTM 390 Duke
Price: Rs 2,99,297 (ex-showroom)

The KTM 390 Duke is often the first preference for riders who want thrilling performance without really spending a lot of money. It is a naked motorcycle with aggressive-looking bodywork. While it is incredibly fun on the highway, it also filters through city traffic with ease, thanks to its nimble handling. That said, the 390 needs a trained wrist to be able to safely use all of its performance.
KTM 390 Adventure
Price:
390 Adventure (standard): Rs 3,96,744
390 Adventure X: Rs 3,28,018
390 Adventure R: Rs 3,77,914
(ex-showroom)

Whether it’s making touring easier or ensuring a stress-free city commute, the KTM 390 Adventure handles both surprisingly well. Its engine delivers strong torque, making riding through traffic manageable, and it can comfortably cruise at highway speeds. And if you want to go off-road, the 390 Adventure can do it easily.
It comes with 3 riding modes, cornering & switchable ABS, a TFT display with customisable layouts, cruise control, and a bidirectional quick shifter.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
Price: Rs 3,05,736 - Rs 3,37,036 (ex-showroom)

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, as the name suggests, is built to take on the harshest conditions. Its power delivery is smooth, the engine is torquey, the build quality feels solid, and the comfort levels are impressive. This is why it remains a top choice for many riders when it comes to touring.
It also offers a strong set of features, including two ride modes with switchable ABS, a circular TFT screen, and Google Maps navigation. However, its weight and tall seat height can be slightly challenging for urban riding or for new riders.
Aprilia RS457
Price: Rs 4,20,000 (ex-showroom)

The Aprilia RS 457 gives you a taste of Italian styling and performance for a relatively affordable price. It has an attention-grabbing youthful and stylish design. It has a 5-inch colour TFT display, cornering dual-channel ABS, traction control, and multiple ride modes. The engine is quite tractable in the city and feels spirited on open roads.
Honda NX 500
Price: Rs 6,33,180 (ex-showroom)

The Honda NX500 is a really nice ADV. It is quite refined, like most Honda bikes are.. It has a large 17.5-litre fuel tank that ensures you won’t have to frequently stop for fuel. It has a decent feature list which includes a 5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, music control, and turn-by-turn navigation. There’s also a dedicated button for switchable traction control. It may feel expensive as compared to the other bikes in this list, but it’s a highly refined, reliable, and well-rounded motorcycle.

amazing beast just go for itJust go for it. In this price rs 457 is best in segment. Love you Aprilia, riding experience shocked me. Power of this bike is insane. I don't think in this price any bike will close to Aprilia. Breaks are awesome, works smoothly, looks of this bike is like 1000cc bike, top speed is 200+ and this is cool.Read More
Ready to Adventure.I also have a Duke, Adv has covered all the issues which I have faced on Duke when I use to go on long rides, Ride is also plush coupled with a great engine which proves itself on all grounds. Also it has a decent fuel efficiency considering its engine performance. Bike's comfortable its mileage is also good I get a decent range, but the engine won't feel as raw as BS4 duke, great electronics and safety. Just having engine oil consumption on higher side. Also the Trampler tyres give more life than Turanzas which came initially. Long hauling person should definitely buy this bike, long rides are so hassle free. And comfortable, also if you have to carry any luggage they have provided good anchoring points. Tieing a back pack or a duffle bag is easy.Read More
Good in this price rangeDifferent looks and a bit adventure tourer and a powerful bike at a lower price, there is no powerful bike in the market in this price range , such a good looking bike after yamaha fz. Display is brighter Good in handling and mileage but stiff suspension and lower travel suspension pillion seat is not comfortable at all problem in shifting gears. Should add more themes on the tft display and add some mode like rain tour etc. Yes because there is no bike in the market in this price range this is the bike after yamaha fz. Powerfull engine headlight is much brighter, great mileage of 54 on highway and upto 50 in city , recommend for daily ride and little long tour.Read More
