KTM RC 160
KTM launched the 160 Duke a few months ago. It is currently the most affordable KTM on sale in India. The KTM RC 160, its faired sibling, was spotted testing on Indian streets with a sharper design, the same 160cc engine but with a sportier riding posture complete with clip-on handlebars. It is expected to be launched in India sometime in early 2026.
Updated Yamaha R3
Yamaha launched the updated R3 in Japan, back in March 2025. Now that there are rumours of the current-generation Yamaha R3 being discontinued in India, we expect that the Japanese brand will possibly launch the updated version (2025 Yamaha R3) in the country soon. The 300cc Japanese supersport is expected to be launched in India sometime by mid-2026.
Updated Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
Kawasaki unveiled the updated Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R at EICMA 2025. The 2026 model has a redesigned front section with aerodynamic winglets that produce high downforce at triple-digit speeds, and a new 5-inch TFT instrument console. Since the Ninja ZX-10R is the best-selling litre-class faired bike in India, it’s only a matter of time before Kawasaki launches the updated version here. We reckon that will happen by the middle of the year.
Yamaha R7
Yamaha had showcased the R7 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The bike is powered by a 689cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 73.4PS and 67Nm. The brand was supposed to launch the bike in 2025, but the plans got delayed, reportedly due to the new E20 fuel norms. Like the R3, this one too is expected to be launched by mid-2026.
Norton Manx R
TVS-owned Norton is expected to launch their bikes in India by the end of the year, and the Norton Manx R is the brand’s flagship supersport. It’s a 1200cc V4 engine-powered bike that produces an impressive 206 PS and 130Nm. It’s designed to rival the Ducati Panigale V4, but will be a much more expensive motorcycle meant for niche enthusiasts with deep pockets.

TVS Apache RR 450
TVS unveiled a new supersports concept at EICMA 2025, called the TVS Tangent RR, that gave us a glimpse of what the new generation 420cc Apache might look like. It will be powered by a 420cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine borrowed from the new BMW F 450 GS’ platform, co-developed with BMW Motorrad. The new TVS Apache RR 450 is expected to be launched in India with a price tag of around Rs 4,70,000 (ex-showroom). That said, it may not be launched this year, but we’re confident that we will get to witness its unveiling at the EICMA 2026, in November. It will be the next natural evolution of the Apache RR 310, and is expected to be much more capable, and perhaps even more feature-packed than the 300cc faired bike.
