According to the latest SIAM (Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) sales data, we have compiled a list of the top 5 best-selling 125cc bikes for July, and here’s the analysis:

The Honda Shine 125 has been Honda’s bread-and-butter model for years. It’s not only the best-selling 125cc bike but is also the second best-selling motorcycle in general in India. Honda sold 1,38,665 units in the month of July 2025, which is a 2.85% increase in MoM (Month-On-Month) sales when compared to June 2025, while the YoY (Year-On-Year) sales show a slight decline of 1.36%. Expect the sales to go up in the following months thanks to the festive season.

The Bajaj Pulsar 125cc range has three bikes: the Bajaj Pulsar 125 with classic styling, the modern Pulsar N125, and the sporty Pulsar NS125. In July 2025, Bajaj sold 41,306 units of the Bajaj Pulsar range, which is a 16.79% decrease in the MoM sales when compared with June 2025. The YoY sales too show a 25.85% decrease. The TVS Raider 125 practically popularised the sporty 125cc segment in the country. It has been quite a popular motorcycle among the buyers who want a fuel-efficient motorcycle that can handle city commutes with ease and also the occasional highway runs.
TVS sold 24,511 units of the bike in July 2025, that’s a 10.80% decrease in MoM sales, while the YoY sales have been quite consistent with just a 0.14% decrease. Even though the brand launched two new colour schemes for the Raider recently, the launch of the Hero Glamour X 125 poses a big threat to the Raider’s sales. We’ll have to wait and see how the numbers turn up in the following months.

The Hero Super Splendor has been synonymous with reliability, ease of riding, and hassle-free ownership since its launch. It has all the good fundamental qualities, just like the Hero Splendor Plus, but comes with a larger 125cc engine.
Despite these qualities it managed to tally only 12,488 units in July 2025. This is a significant decrease in MoM sales by 38.87%. The YoY sales, though, show an increase of 18.54%.

In July 2025, Hero sold 12,287 units of the Hero Xtreme 125R, a 23.06% decrease in MoM sales. The YoY sales too show a similar trend with a 52.44% decline, which is quite a lot. This is despite the launch of the single-piece seat variant of the Xtreme 125 in April. It’s high time Hero offers a similar set of features as the Glamour X 125 on the sportier Xtreme 125R – that will go a long way in bringing the Xtreme’s market share back.

Good mileage on highway and pickup is mind blowing, I love this bike this is the best bike for daily use, i'm using very roughly and i spent 250 rupees of petrol in this bike, and cover 150 km smoothly, that's why i love this bike. This bike is very comfortable with my experience because I drive this bike daily approx 120/130 kms using 180-200 ruppes of petrol in that also bike will save some petrol in the performance of controlling this the best bike. This is the best bike under budget, excellent for middle class family because mileage is good and low cost maintenance, and budget friendly bike, and i love the bike look i don't face any problems in this bike, and one more thing. Nice and balanced overall. Bike weight is very good. Its never goes disbalanced. Mileage is 55 around, no matter where you drive and which kind of conditions are you driving on. Seats are a bit conjusted but driving experience is overall good. Suspensions works well on road. Perfect bike for daily commuting also.Read More
Service and maintenance charge is normal, mileage is 50 - 55 kmpl on highway, 45-50 kmpl in cities and streets. Overall, it is a quite good bike with good performance and minimal costs. Everyday rides upto hundred kms can be done easily, I ride daily around 80 kms and it is very easy for me and it's a sports bike even with only 125 CC engine.Read More
Overall very good bike with reasonable price and engine performance, but yes some vibration in engine at high speed around 70. Looks wise also clean and pickup is not very good or bad. I used honda shine in past pickup was better than this one and yellowish digital meter can be also negative for some user.Read More
