Hero Price Hike Announced: Splendor, HF Deluxe, Maestro Edge, Xtreme 160R And More
Hero’s entire lineup will witness a bump in prices in April
Hero’s entire lineup will witness a bump in prices in April
Hero MotoCorp has announced it will increase the prices of its two-wheeler range from April 1, 2021. Hero says the prices will have to be increased “to partially offset the impact of increased commodity costs.” So this will affect all of Hero’s lineup, including the Splendor, HF Deluxe, Passion Pro, and premium offerings like the Xtreme 160R, XPulse 200 and the likes.
That said, Hero MotoCorp assures us that it has sped up its cost savings programme so that the impact on the end consumer is minimal. The company also says that the upper limit to the premium will be Rs 2,500, which isn’t really substantial enough to make an impact on your purchasing decision. The exact amount will vary depending on the model, but expect the more affordable 100-125cc commuter bikes to witness a relatively lower price hike than the 160cc and 200cc range.
This price hike announcement isn’t exactly new as Hero MotoCorp does this every financial year, in addition to price revisions over the course of a few months. Hero had just increased the prices of its lineup back in January this year. Take a look at the prices of all the models here:

After purchasing HF deluxe bike, I feel it's very comfortable while driving and very cheap in cost of maintenance, average both. It looks very nice in design against same segment bikes. For safety points it have safeguards to safe our legs in any unhappining issue so I suggest strongly for local & short distance travelling.Read More

I'm riding this bike for approximately 8 years. The servicing cost is low if you change the engine oil every 3,000 to 3,500 kilometres. The mileage was 60 km/l before ethanol, but after ethanol, the mileage has reduced by approximately 10 km/l. Whether you use the bike for rough or regular riding, there hasn't been a single problem. So, if you want to save on daily fuel and other expenses, buy it now.Read More
I’ve been using this bike for the last 3 years, and overall, I’m very happy with it. It’s a great choice for both city rides and off-roading. The mileage and maintenance costs are good, and the suspension is excellent for potholes and rough Indian roads. The main drawbacks are engine heating during hilly rides and some fatigue on rides over 200 km in a day. Overall, a comfortable, reliable, and capable off-road bike. I haven’t faced any major issues in 3 years. I'll rate it 5/5.Read More
I recently tried hero Xtreme 160r stealth edition for my daily city ride and what stood out immediately was the puncy and low end performance that make stop and go traffic feel effortless, the gear shift are predictible, the bike feel planted and the start and tell feature is surprisingly convenient when you are in rush.Read More
